Hidden Gems: Meet Karlevia Foster of Triple K Credit Restoration Services, KC Interior Designs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karlevia Foster.

Hi Karlevia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My first business I started in December of 2015. Working as a loan officer for 5 years in the customer service field, meant that I spent all day of my life putting consumers in more debt than they could have ever bargained for. While at both of these companies I maintained a top 5 status for approving the most loans, so you could say I was pretty good at what I did. Well the last company finally went under, as the first company told us they would, and they terminated me. At this point in my life I was 24 (pushing 25) and it was time for me to find something that could make me happy and bring me peace. After a week of being unemployed I decided to start Triple K Credit Restoration Services as my way of giving back for all of those people who I had put in debt just by approving those loans. Now instead of waking up and putting consumers in debt, I spend every day of my life taking consumers out of debt. My first company has done nothing but grow me as a person, as a professional, as a business owner and as a consultant. I have been blessed to educate a wide range of different people of all ages, races, and cultures and that alone has been a remarkable experience. My interactions with my clients, as well as even perspective clients allows me to educate my community on guidelines, requirements, even resources and information that they never even knew existed. My goal is for Triple K Credit Restoration Services to be around forever so that those connected me can no longer say no one is trying to teach us, because that is all that I want to do!!!!! 5 years into being a credit consultant in 2020, I discovered I truly had a passion for interior design. Outside of helping clients reduce debt I spent a lot of time watching HGTV, studying designers and concepts, and helping family and friends choose furniture and decor. So I decided it was time to turn this passion into production and I started Kartier Couture Interior Designs better known as KC Interiors today. This career allowed me to combine my creativity and shopping addiction on a daily basis, talk about living a dream lol every project felt like my own, even now it still does. I pride myself in making sure every design is tailored to the client at hand, creating a personalized experience and providing excellent customer service. Those dead end jobs were not just that, I was able to learn how to listen to my clients to provide the best possible outcome which has helped me in all of my business endeavors. Some people would say I already had enough on my plate, being a single mother with two high paced careers but as usual I was looking for more credentials to add to my name. In 2022 I decided it was time to get my real estate license, I had took the classes in 2020 but then we got hit with Covid so testing was postponed and I never followed up. I let the new life we were living take over my ambition and instead of thriving for more, I just tried my best to survive. But the fire lit again a couple years later and I went and took that test one time and passed with flying colors. A test that I had been told everyone has to take multiple times, considered to be one of the hardest in the world, and here I was passing it without breaking a sweat. That made me feel good, made me feel accomplished and now I was feeling like I could take over the world. I turned myself into a one stop shop for clients. Not only could I help you restore your credit, but now I was equipped with the ability to sell you a home, and it didn’t stop there. After I sell you a house, I could now fully design it for you as well. Doesn’t it sound like the dream, a career of non ending possibilities right. But of course life wouldn’t be life if they didn’t throw a wrench in it lol the real estate company I joined was closing down within a year of me joining. Talk about being discouraged, I went to work for a bigger company but it never felt the same. The family feel I had gotten from the company I started with was gone, and it led me to think that maybe this wasn’t a career for me. Or maybe I was just outgrowing the city I’ve lived in my whole entire life. In 2023 I made up my mind that it was time for me to leave Kansas City I just didn’t know where I wanted to go. In April of 2024 I took a trip to Houston for my best friend birthday, Houston had become our favorite place to visit to have a good time. But for this trip, God had other plans. For the first time ever being in Houston we didn’t party but yet we still enjoyed every moment. God was showing me that Houston could be home, that I could find peace in a place full of chaos. So that was it, I made the decision I was moving to Houston, and by July I was here ready to start a whole new life. And now a little over a year later I can say I’m finally settled in and I’m ready to make a name for Karlevia Foster here. The state needs to know I’m here and ready to help

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think I included my struggles in my story lol I’m sorry I went full throttle on that portion

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Triple K Credit Restoration Services, KC Interior Designs?
I have a proven track record in the credit world, ten years of business and I’ve never received a complaint. I take great pride in not being one of those companies who take your money with no results. Every single client I encounter leaves my program more knowledgeable than when they started because I educate first.

As a designer I’m able to understand what the client wants to provide a personal experience. I’m always told that the space is either exactly what they wanted or more than they could have imagined. I think outside the box, which allows me to give them designs they’ve never seen before. New concepts and fresh ideas that tend to turn into trends. I’ve had multiple designs viral in different decor groups on social media.

Being a realtor who is also a credit consultant I can provide insight to my clients on what it takes to get what they want before the process even starts. This provides me with an advantage of not wasting clients time and providing them with the education and tools they need to achieve their home buying goals. Knowing where their credit is allows me to know exactly which lender can help them according to where they stand at that time.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
When I was probably about 7 or 8 years old, my mom and my dad took me to Toys R Us and they let me fill up an entire basket with whatever I wanted. & I really filled it all the way to the top lol and it was for absolutely no reason at all. My mom had asked me the day before what is something that I wanted, and I told her I wanted to go on a shopping spree for toys and the next day here I was. I was a very spoiled child. A lot of people would say that could damage a child but for me it just made me know that I could get anything I wanted in life. It taught me young that if you work hard nothing is out of your reach. If you want it you can get it, and that’s exactly how I have treated life.
