Today we’d like to introduce you to Keely Gonzalez
Hi Keely, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I created cleansed by Keely in December of 2019. When I look back it was the beginning of my self love journey. At the time I was 22, I had worked in various jobs but often felt overworked and under appreciated sometimes my kindness would be taken for weakness. That experience motivated me to take control of my own destiny and create my own business. I wanted a career where I could build direct, meaningful connections with clients and see the impact of my work instantly. Starting my own business has given me the chance to combine my love for organizing with the freedom and satisfaction that comes from being my own boss.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like any small business, there have been struggles along the way. In the beginning, finding clients and building a consistent workload was challenging, especially handling everything myself, there is no team. Balancing a steady income with the unpredictability of the job, especially during slower seasons, was another hurdle. But these challenges pushed me to grow, refine my approach, and stay resilient. Looking back, every struggle has been worth it, because each one has helped shape Cleansed by Keely into what it is today. I am grateful for everything those struggles taught me.
We’ve been impressed with Cleansed by Keely, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Originally I offered housekeeping, laundry services and even moving services. . . As the 5 year anniversary of Cleansed by Keely approaches I am switching over to strictly organization clients. I’ve had my run with cleaning and I am so thankful for all of my clients along the way! Forever grateful!
At Cleansed by Keely, I believe organizing goes far beyond just creating a tidy space – it’s about helping people find peace and control in their daily lives. I focus on connecting with each client on a personal level, understanding their unique struggles and what they hope to achieve. Whether it’s clearing out a cluttered closet or redesigning a living space to flow better, my goal is to create an environment that truly supports their lifestyle and well-being.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me to step into their spaces and help them through what can often be an emotional process. Organizing can feel overwhelming or sometimes even impossible, and I approach each project with empathy, respect, and a non-judgmental attitude.
What sets Cleansed by Keely apart is the compassion and personalized touch I bring to every project. I see organizing as more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact on people’s lives. My goal isn’t just to tidy up, but to help clients create a system that reduces stress and makes their daily routines smoother.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Physically write down all the desires of your heart – there’s power in seeing your vision on paper. Create a plan, stay focused, and give it everything you’ve got! There will be challenges, but remember that perseverance is key. And don’t forget – the secret to life is gratitude. When you focus on what you’re thankful for, it fuels you to keep going and brings even more positivity into your work. Be patient with yourself and TRUST that every step you take is leading you closer to your dreams.
