Hi Keena, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
During my twelve years of nursing career, I was fortunate to take care of many people, from different walks of life, with many different ailments. I’ve experienced many various hospitals and numerous specialties. It was evident that yes modern medicine has its time and place but there was also something missing from the entire process. Modern medicine addresses the physical body, the mental body, and the emotional body but the area that was typically unaddressed was the etheric/auric body.
After doing countless physical exams, it was apparent that the etheric/auric body mattered just as much as the other three “bodies.” Lack of attention to the etheric/auric body leaves unresolved pockets of energy behind, resulting in the breakdown of the body’s energetic system which presents itself as dis-ease.
In 2018 Alchemedic Wellness was born in response to this need. I began studying, researching, and learning about a topic that was never mentioned/taught to me throughout my educational journey of becoming a nurse. I began with the practice of Reiki and slowly added concepts and practices that resonated with my client’s experiences as well as their results. Some of these practices included tuning forks, singing bowls, and crystals (just to name a few).
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey has been both beautiful and difficult, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything else in this world. I am a first-line generation energy worker and business owner, so there was no blueprint or mentor to lead the way. Navigating through practices that are not mainstream and to some very taboo has also been very interesting as well. As healing expands and new research emerges, I expect for these ancient practices become streamlined. History always has a way of repeating itself and before we had major technological advances, our ancestors used a wholistic approach to achieve wellness.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Alchemedic Wellness is a health and wellness business that specializes in Waistbeads sessions (beautiful multicolored beads that are applied to the waist of both women and babies to honor their femininity and growth.) We carry apothecary items such as fixed candles and we also specialize in herbal formulas for most common ailments such as poor immunity, accelerated cleansing, relaxation, and hormonal balance (just to name a few). Our services include Energy Healing. With the use of tuning forks and singing bowls, we utilize different frequencies measured in hertz to balance out the human energy field. The use of polarity methods and the pathways of the meridians help to guide the session as well. Energy healing sessions are offered for both adults and children (age seven and older) and are used to treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, poor sleep quality, overactive mind, stress, and many other things. The methods used are non-invasive, do not hurt, and causes no major discomfort. The idea behind energy healing is to bring awareness to the mind/body partnership as it speaks to us. The human body is comprised of a very intelligent web of information stored in the nervous system and fascia. As we age and deal with uncomfortable life circumstances, stagnant energy tends to stick to our auric field, causing recurrent “glitches” aka disease in our system. Through energy work and acknowledgment of self, it is easier to comprehend and listen while the system ‘speaks”.
