Hi Kelvin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
The story of my life simplified, where I started my career working with corporate and tech companies. However, I grew tired of the 9-to-5 grind, where corporate management often failed to take care of their employees. Frustrated with corporate policies, I decided to make a change—leaving behind the corporate world to pursue a career in real estate.
I’ve always loved selling and admiring beautiful, large homes, dreaming of one day owning something extraordinary. That dream fueled my passion, and with dedication and hard work, I made it a reality. After just two years in real estate, I became a top producer in Houston while leading a team that has now grown to 18 members.
Real estate is my passion, and I’ve embraced a leadership role—educating and guiding my team as we strive to collectively reach $100M in sales.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My first three months in real estate were a huge struggle. I was like a sponge, constantly learning and adapting to everything about the industry. I invested thousands of dollars to gain the right knowledge, but more than anything, I devoted my time to mastering the business to help pass down knowledge to my team without gatekeeping.
One of the hardest challenges was earning clients’ trust—getting them to feel confident in choosing me to buy or sell their home. Learning the right real estate terminology was also a struggle; as a newcomer, I often felt unsure of what to do.
After three months, I finally closed my first deal, and from there, momentum took over. Within two years, I became a top producer in Houston, Texas.
The key to success in real estate is staying highly knowledgeable and always being one step ahead of the competition. You never know what situations you’ll face, so it’s crucial to master every aspect—from going under contract to negotiations and closing deals.
Finding the right team members to get my first deal going was one of the hardest challenges. I needed people who could handle content creation, photography, and videography.

Helping someone who is completely clueless about the home-buying process and guiding them to the finish line is the best feeling. My priority is educating clients and ensuring they feel confident every step of the way.
Another thing that brings me joy is watching my team grow together. My team is my priority, and I strive to help them learn real estate the way I did—without having to go through the same struggles.
