Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiana Frazier.
Hi Kiana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I started maybe 10 years ago with a really close friend of mines. We was very interested in cannabis and growing I had land, and it kind went from there. I landed in the northern states California and Washington and invested into becoming a cultivator. I moved to Texas and seen an opportunity in dispensary ownership which has been my dream, and now I have SHE.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
In the beginning of starting, SHE definitely wasn’t easy. It took a lot of time for me to find my flow. Already being educated in the field I attended Oaksterdahm University in Oakland, so paper trail was great. But I had no team, I knew no one in Houston so I build SHE literally from the ground up.
We’ve been impressed with SHE Coffee Bar, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
SHE is the first black female-owned Dispensary in Houston. We offer wide variety of items from our List of Top Shelf cannabis to the All organic and vegan Fruit mixes such as our Medicated Fruit Bowl, Cannaberry Smoothie and the customer favorites our Rasta Green Açaí Bowl. All items can be served Infused or “Naked” no THC. She is your favorite spot for a “Healthy High.” All items are vegan and organic. SHE is women-owned and many of our products are also women-owned such as our coffee our popular Sip & Sonder and Blk & Bold. We also have Three Keys Coffee which is a native brand to Houston, Tx. Most of my flower is grown by myself or other women I source from such as Be Provisions which is owned by Dreka Gates, Kush Queens, and Garden Society. We also offer cultivation classes in which we teach the ins and outs about the cannabis world.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My best advice is DO YOUR RESEARCH. The cannabis field is very touchy, so having the knowledge to educate others is very important.
