Hi Lexus, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Tax Business owner by way of Opelousas, Louisiana operating in the Houston, Tx Metropolitan.
In 2018, I applied for a role as a Tax Preparer with a Tax Professional that had her own Tax business here in Houston, Tx and I must admit that I was nervous. I was walking into something new and I wanted to do it right. Year 1, I had a few clients and by Year 3 I was her one of her top Performers. Year 5 I decided to branch out on my own and developed Thomas Tax Service. Now, I have tax preparers that work alongside me. an office and most of all I have God. I thank him for his grace and mercy and the opportunity to do what I’m doing today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has been a journey. I’ve run into difficult times with individuals and in business but I’ve always remained positive and humble through it all.
