Hidden Gems: Meet Mae Belton of QueenNe Mae Ministries

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mae Belton

Hi Mae, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My Ministry started with my personal experience with my own daughters that grew into a life changing journey that I knew the lord had planned out for me. I grew with my children and this community and became an advocate through my ministries with events of bringing the autistic/special needs community together.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This has not been a smooth road but with God’s grace and guidance I was able to get through it with patience and prayer. I trusted God through all my steps and frustrations and I wanted to make sure I taught it in my children but in my ministries as well. The biggest challenge that I have been faced with was the passing of my parents within the same time frame. This was a great test on my heart and my spirit, because not only did this affect me but affected my children just as much. So that was something that I had to really grow and listen to God through my emotions and those of my children. So that was very much the main reason as well as to why I started QueenNe Mae Ministries, in remembrance of my father and his very strong impact in my life and the growth of my daughters as well. A Lot of what I do and the care in my heart came from my father and I just know that being a part of my goals and just the growth of my spiritual journey has been something he has supported me in.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My Ministry has been my full time job that has kept me more than profitable in information and guidance that God has shown me more than what any church or congregation has shown me. As a woman of God I was chosen to speak as an advocate for women and children of all shapes and forms through the word of Christ. All that I have walked and seen has been picked for me by God and the journey he has made for me has not been easy, but has been the pour into my cup from God that he wants me to pour into others. This has been through prayer and heartfelt studies with other women and children of God especially those with a disability and in need of spirit and health.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The lessons that I have learned have been more than educational, from scheduling to staying motivated and focused. The lessons I have learned have been more valuable than things that I own, because this all comes from God pouring into my Daughter, who pours into me and keeps me going. Through different struggles and experiments I have learned that the biggest lesson I have learned is the environment and people you keep are very important, especially through Christ.
