In a blink of an eye, I can reflect on a journey that has been both a thrilling roller coaster and the most rewarding ride of my life. When I started my career in this industry, I must admit I didn’t fully grasp what lay ahead. All I knew was that I was determined to hit the ground running, with failure simply not an option. At that time, I was pregnant with twins and my husband had just been laid off from his job at the refinery. Failure wasn’t an option; I had immense faith in God and in myself, and I was resolved to overcome any obstacles through persistence, resilience, grace, and unwavering faith.
Today, I am honored to be a three-time Platinum Award winner at Keller Williams, a testament to the exceptional production numbers and success I’ve achieved. I consistently hear from industry professionals and leadership teams that the volume of business I have generated and the organization I’ve built at Nova Era Realty Group is extraordinary. Many at Keller Williams have remarked that it typically takes over 17 years to achieve what I have accomplished in less than four years.
What sets me apart is my unwavering focus, exceptional problem-solving skills, and deep passion for real estate and business development. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Navigating the world of real estate is far from a smooth journey; it’s filled with challenges and hurdles that test even the most seasoned professionals. As the first person in my family to achieve such a high level of success, I’ve encountered numerous obstacles and learning curves along the way.
One of the greatest realizations I’ve had is that being a real estate agent is not merely about selling properties; it’s about building and running a successful real estate business. This involves much more than what meets the eye. From hiring the right talent and managing the delicate process of letting go of team members, to onboarding new agents and providing effective training within my Nova Era Realty Group organization, every step presents its own set of challenges. Finding the right CPA and bookkeeper are also critical tasks that come with their own complexities.
Despite these trials, each challenge has been an opportunity for growth. Growing pains are never easy, but I’ve come to embrace them as signs that something extraordinary is on the horizon. My journey has been marked by resilience and determination, driven by a deep passion for both my work and my community.
In sharing my story, I hope to connect with others who may be facing their own struggles, offering a reminder that growth, while often painful, can lead to truly magical outcomes.

Any big plans?
As I look to the future, my vision for my organizations is centered around expansion and empowerment. I am dedicated to growing my team so they can achieve their goals at the highest level. Additionally, I plan to extend my organization with new branches across the Houston area, embracing the boundless opportunities this vibrant city offers.
One of my proudest achievements has been the launch of my second business, HEXLIX HOMES, where my husband, Jose, serves as the Team Lead and Director of Operations for the Investment homes that we purchase. This venture reflects my commitment to innovation and excellence. I am also thrilled to announce that I am in the process of planning my third business—an endeavor that holds special significance as it will be where I envision my eventual retirement.
While the details of this new venture are still being thoughtfully developed, I am eager to share more with you in the coming years. This future business will be designed to bring families together, offering an exceptional experience that resonates with joy and connection.
