Hi Mari-Angeli, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
The story of OutJeweled is very random and honestly in the short amount of time of OutJeweled existing I didn’t know it would make such an impact. OutJewelded is the sister company to OutLashed which is the eyelash extensions company which expanded to OutJewelded which is how the name come about with the continuation of the “Out”. We started OutJewelded to be able to bring a different side of permanent jewelry to the industry, connecting memorable memories to jewelry. For others, it may just be permanent jewelry, but for us, it’s the sentimental value these pieces hold because of the memory attached during the application process doing it with your mother or best friend etc… is something to always cherish and remember. Needless to say, we specialize in events and parties and events for businesses to create that memorable experience others look for.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Being that I am a business coach (full time) and OutLashed has been existing for a few years, OutJeweled doesn’t seem as stressful because we believe we went through many rough patches with our other businesses prior to OutJeweled so we had a better idea of how to start a business. The hardest thing would probably be gaining the exposure in the beginning because of how little people know of this industry it is up and coming.

The biggest impact we would like to leave on others when they think of OutJeweled is how memorable moments can be attached to this piece. It’s more than just jewelry, it’s something to cherish and hold near to you.
What sets us apart here at outjeweled is our drive to exceed expectation and create experiences. We hold so much more than just the title of permanent jewelers we bring an unforgettable experience to all events or parties asked to attend.
Most proud to be creating a brand. That is growing at an exponential rate with great partnerships created with our local business owners. We believe who you know is everything and outjeweled has great connections that have been granted, and we cannot wait to show the world what permanent jewelry is.
We want readers to know we offer private events, parties, and 1-on-1 appointments. We will be specializing in bridal events such as bachelorettes, weddings. As well as Events & business events. We are open to be the main attraction at any event and do travel. Permanent jewelry is one thing & creating long-lasting memories is forever.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Risk taking is never easy reason being you will win some and you will lose some. Although, there is beauty that can be found in losing. Losing allows you to elevate and alter what you did that may not have worked it teaches you lessons so that you can get better in whatever it is you are choosing to excel in, losing can be winning and is part of the process of the journey. A major risk I took was starting OutJeweled it’s essentially my third business, and I didn’t know if I would have the bandwidth to be able to uphold this business to the standard I wanted to. Although, I know it was something I wanted to do and was willing to put a team together for assistance to be able to make it happen, and it did. Starting any business is a risk, but you either take it or live with what-ifs. I’d rather take it, rather than live with what it could’ve been.
