Hi Melissa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began my real estate career after spending 21 wonderful years as a stay-at-home mom. During that time, I often found myself helping friends connect with the right realtor, lender, or home builder—always making sure each connection was a perfect fit. When I became an empty nester and began building my seventh home, the salesman pointed out that I was already doing what great Realtors do. That moment lit the path I was meant to follow, and I’ve been walking it ever since.
Real estate has been the perfect fit for me. I’ve been truly blessed to build a career I love and to develop a dedicated team that has been with me since the beginning. Together, we bring a powerful advantage to every client we serve—combining experience, knowledge, and strong negotiation skills. Most importantly, we lead with a servant’s heart, treating every client like family and guiding them through each step of their real estate journey with care and integrity.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My time in real estate has been both exhilarating and, at times, overwhelming—mostly due to the incredible blessings that have come with a high volume of business. Learning how to run and grow a business has been both a rewarding and challenging journey. As they say, if you’re comfortable as a business owner, you’re probably not pushing yourself enough—and I’ve found that learning to leverage resources and people has truly been a saving grace.
