Obstacles / Challenges
One of the greatest challenges has been challenging long-held assumptions about intelligence.
My perspective was shaped not only by leading enterprise transformation initiatives, but also by traveling to more than 80 countries across six continents and working alongside communities with very different relationships to technology. Those experiences taught me that technology is not the measure of intelligence.
I have met entrepreneurs selling food from the side of the road without a website, digital payment system, or online presence. They are building businesses, supporting families, and contributing to their local economies every day. I have visited communities where access to technology is limited, yet innovation, resilience, and knowledge are abundant.
Those experiences changed the questions I began asking.
Instead of asking, “How do we get more technology into people’s hands?” I began asking, “How do we ensure technology serves people wherever they are?”
That distinction has shaped everything I have created.
Translating that philosophy into enterprise software has challenged conventional thinking. Many platforms begin with features, functionality, and workflows. I chose to begin with people, their intent, and the decisions they are trying to make.
Every decision creates consequences. The quality of those decisions depends on the quality of the intelligence behind them, and the people affected by those decisions deserve better intelligence.
That is why I am redefining how organizations experience intelligence.
