Hidden Gems: Meet Natalie Hussion of EMS Enhanced

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Hussion.

Hi Natalie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey to founding EMS Enhanced wasn’t a straight line—it was built through experience, curiosity, and ultimately, a desire to create something more meaningful in the wellness space.

I spent nearly 15 years in corporate America, where I developed a strong foundation in business, communication, and client relationships. While that chapter shaped me professionally, I always had a strong passion for health, fitness, and performance. Over time, I found myself wanting more—more purpose, more connection, and more impact in the work I was doing.

A pivotal moment in my life was losing my mother to Sporadic CJD. That experience deeply shifted my perspective. It made me reflect on how important it is to feel good in your body, to prioritize your health, and to not wait to make meaningful changes. It ultimately gave me the push to take a leap and pursue a path where I could help others feel stronger, healthier, and more energized in their daily lives.

That shift led me to discover Electro Muscle Stimulation (EMS) training. I was immediately drawn to its efficiency, innovation, and ability to deliver real results in a fraction of the time. It felt like the future of fitness—something that could truly bridge the gap between performance, recovery, and longevity.

I started by offering in-home concierge EMS training, working one-on-one with clients and seeing firsthand how transformative the technology could be. As demand grew, so did the vision. What began as a personalized service evolved into a boutique studio—EMS Enhanced—designed to deliver a high-touch, results-driven experience in a more elevated setting.

Today, EMS Enhanced is a private wellness social club—Elevate + Restore—where performance, recovery, and advanced wellness technologies come together under one roof. We’ve created a space where clients can elevate their output while restoring their energy, all within an efficient, under-one-hour experience.

Looking back, every step—from corporate America to personal loss to entrepreneurship—has shaped what EMS Enhanced is today. And we’re just getting started.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road—entrepreneurship rarely is—but every challenge has played a role in shaping both myself and EMS Enhanced into what it is today.

One of the biggest challenges early on was introducing a newer concept like EMS training to a market that wasn’t widely familiar with it. There’s always a level of education required when you’re bringing something innovative to the space. Building trust, demonstrating results, and helping clients understand the value took consistency and patience.

Another challenge was the transition from a concierge, in-home service to a physical studio. Scaling a personalized experience without losing the quality and attention to detail that made clients fall in love with the brand in the first place required a lot of intention. Every decision—from team building to client experience—had to align with that standard.

Technology has also been a learning curve. Working with advanced equipment means there are moments when things don’t always go as planned. When equipment goes down, you have to be ready to pivot quickly while still delivering a seamless experience for the client. It’s taught me a lot about patience, adaptability, and always having a solution-oriented mindset.

Like many business owners, there are also the day-to-day challenges that come with growth—managing operations, building the right team, and continuously evolving to meet client needs while staying ahead in a competitive wellness space.

That said, I’ve always viewed challenges as opportunities to refine and elevate. They’ve pushed me to be more resilient, more thoughtful in how we operate, and more committed to delivering an exceptional experience.

Looking back, those moments of uncertainty or difficulty were often the ones that led to the biggest growth—not just for the business, but personally as well.

As you know, we’re big fans of EMS Enhanced . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
EMS Enhanced is a privately owned boutique electrofitness studio and private wellness social club—Elevate + Restore—designed for individuals who want results without sacrificing time, quality, or experience.

We specialize in Electro Muscle Stimulation (EMS) training, a highly efficient method that activates up to 90% of muscle fibers in a single session, delivering the equivalent of hours of conventional training in just 25 minutes. What sets us apart is how we’ve expanded beyond fitness to create a more comprehensive wellness experience. We integrate performance, recovery, and esthetic technologies all under one roof—ranging from EMS body training and facial sculpting to lymphatic drainage, hydrogen therapy, infrared sauna, and contrast therapy.

What we are most known for is our personalized, high-touch approach. Every session is one-on-one and tailored to the individual, whether their goal is fat loss, muscle building, recovery, or overall longevity. Our clients are able to come in, reset, and leave feeling stronger, more energized, and restored—all within an efficient, under-one-hour experience.

What truly sets EMS Enhanced apart is the experience itself. We’ve created a space that feels elevated, welcoming, and intentionally designed—where clients are not just coming in for a workout, but for a full wellness reset. It’s a balance of innovation and personalization, backed by a team that is deeply committed to client results and care.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the community we’ve built and the trust we’ve earned. EMS Enhanced has grown organically through client results, word-of-mouth, and relationships. We’ve stayed very intentional about who we are and how we deliver, never compromising the level of service or experience as we’ve grown.

Ultimately, I want readers to know that EMS Enhanced is about more than fitness—it’s about helping people feel their best, operate at a higher level, and take a more proactive approach to their health in a modern, efficient, and elevated way.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
There are so many people who have played a role in the growth of EMS Enhanced—it truly takes a village to build something meaningful.

First and foremost, my team. Each trainer at EMS Enhanced was intentionally chosen for their unique skillset, energy, and ability to connect with clients. They bring the brand to life every day and are a huge part of why our clients continue to come back. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional, personalized experience is everything.

My clients also deserve so much credit. They trusted me early on when EMS was still new to many, and they continue to believe in what we do. Their results, loyalty, and word-of-mouth support have been one of the biggest drivers of our growth. They’re not just clients—they’re truly part of our community.

I’ve also been fortunate to have strong supporters behind the scenes—friends, family, and mentors who have offered guidance, perspective, and encouragement throughout the journey. Entrepreneurship can feel isolating at times, and having people who believe in your vision, especially in the early stages, makes all the difference.

I would be remiss not to acknowledge my husband as well. His support—both personally and professionally—has been instrumental. From helping navigate business decisions to simply being a steady source of encouragement, he’s played a key role in allowing me to take risks and continue growing the business.

At the end of the day, EMS Enhanced is a reflection of all of these people. It’s built on relationships, trust, and a shared commitment to helping others feel their best.
