Hidden Gems: Meet Natasha Elliott of Social Concept Marketing Agency

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Elliott.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story isn’t one many can say they’ve overcome. I grew up in a family living in poverty, surrounded by a mindset I didn’t quite share. As a teenager, I faced challenges that led me down the wrong path — I picked up addictions, surrounded myself with the wrong people, and put myself in situations that could have ended very differently.

At 15, I became pregnant. That moment forced me to make a choice: continue down a destructive path or create a better life for my child. I promised myself that I would do everything in my power to provide stability and opportunity for us both.

I dropped out of high school at 16 but later earned my GED at 18. Determined to change my life, I enrolled in college to pursue psychology. But as a single mom, juggling school, parenting, and financial pressures quickly became overwhelming. I eventually left school and went to work full time — which, as it turns out, was the best decision I could have made.

I found myself in sales and quickly rose to the top, becoming the #1 salesperson in my region out of 500+ locations. I became a manager and even considered going corporate until Covid hit. At the time, my stepfather, who lived with me, was suffering from COPD and emphysema. I couldn’t risk bringing illness home, so I chose not to return to work. It was devastating but also a turning point.

I started my first business and quickly discovered my passion: helping others. I began working with companies to build systems, strategies, and branding that worked for them — not the other way around. In 2023, I launched Social Concept Marketing Agency.

Every business starts with a “why” — and I believe that “why” is what fuels success. My mission was simple: help businesses share their story in a way that drives sales, builds community, and inspires loyalty.

Not long after, I met my neighbor, Haley Don. She had left nursing school to pursue her passion for creating pajamas for Great Danes, and she grew her business almost entirely online. Her creativity and unique perspective inspired me, and we partnered together to build Social Concept into what it is today.

Now, we serve businesses of all sizes — from startups to established companies — helping them grow by leveraging digital marketing, branding, and community-building. For me, this work isn’t just about marketing. It’s about giving back, creating opportunities, and connecting people with businesses that truly impact their lives.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. And honestly, I don’t believe any entrepreneur has a completely smooth road. Running a business comes with challenges, but I feel blessed to have an incredible team by my side. Together, we problem-solve and find solutions to whatever comes our way.

For me personally, technology has always been a challenge. But instead of letting that stop me, I’ve learned to embrace it. Today, I’m grateful for the tools available that help me grow both personally and professionally.

My biggest struggle, though, has been balance. As a business owner, mother, and wife, it’s easy to put work first and feel like I’m always on the clock. Finding that balance between work, family, and self-care is something I’m still learning, but every step forward is progress.

We’ve been impressed with Social Concept Marketing Agency, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Social Concept Marketing Agency is more than just a marketing company — we see ourselves as hands-on business partners who walk alongside our clients every step of the way.

We specialize in helping businesses discover their unique voice, tell their story, and design personalized strategies that highlight their brand authentically. Our services cover everything from website design and Google Business Profile optimization to SEO, social media management, blogs, newsletters, content creation, and more.

What sets us apart is the way we approach our work. We don’t just create a plan and hand it off — we take the workload off the business owner so they can focus on doing what they love. That means we go out and shoot the content, write the captions, schedule the posts, respond to comments and messages, and even set up booking systems, automations, and workflows. Our goal is to create systems that work for our clients, not the other way around.

We work with businesses at all stages — from startups that need a foundation to established companies that want to grow — and we tailor everything to their brand, goals, and audience. Every business has a story, and we believe sharing that story authentically is what drives connection, sales, and long-term success.

What I’m most proud of is the reputation we’ve built in our community as a trusted branding partner. For me, it’s not just about helping a business grow — it’s about helping people feel confident in who they are and what they offer. I want every client to walk away not only with a stronger presence online but also with a deeper sense of pride in their brand.

If there’s one thing I want readers to know, it’s this: Social Concept Marketing Agency isn’t just about marketing deliverables — it’s about building relationships, telling stories, and creating lasting impact. When we help a business grow, it ripples out into the community, supporting families, creating opportunities, and building connections that last well beyond a social media post or campaign.

What’s next?
I have big plans for the future, both for my family and for the impact I want to make in the world. On a personal level, one of my dreams is to build a family compound — a place where I can bring my family out of poverty and create stability for generations to come.

Beyond that, my heart is in giving back. I plan to start a nonprofit in Homestead that provides food for those who are less fortunate and job opportunities for people in need. I believe in creating resources that don’t just provide short-term relief, but help people build a foundation for long-term success.

Another dream of mine is to start a nonprofit for children — especially those who are fosters, orphans, survivors of trafficking, or kids who simply need a safe place to belong. I want to give them the chance to thrive by offering both traditional schooling and a unique homeschool program that focuses on their strengths, emotional well-being, health, nutrition, and real-world skills. This won’t be a program that ends when they turn 18; instead, I want to provide continued support through counseling, coaching, and mentorship so they can step into adulthood with confidence and direction.

I also want to help families — especially parents — who are struggling. No one hands you a guidebook on how to parent, how to cope with life’s hardships, or how to navigate challenges like depression, addiction, or abuse. My vision is to be that guide for families who feel lost, scared, or unsupported.

At the core of everything I’m planning is one belief: this world would be a better place if every child grew up knowing they are loved, valued, and capable of building a life based on their passions. I want to be a catalyst for change by creating environments where people feel empowered to embrace who they are and pursue what’s possible.
