Hi Naudia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
In 2020, I began selling 25mm lashes because that’s all I would wear in high school and years after. I always had a passion for lashes and knew I could go bigger and expand my ideas. It wasn’t until June 2020 that I took a leap of faith and took a classic lash course. I spent months practicing and taking models but realized I didn’t learn how to make fans , so I did the work, looked on YouTube and started practicing fanning/lash mappings. Eventually I taught myself everything else I needed to know about lashes and I started to get booked consistently.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Entrepreneurship is not a smooth road period. Struggles will come your way everyday, maybe every hour. But it’s all about how you put the work in so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor. Some struggles I’ve had along the way would be enforcing my policy, gaining a consistent loyal clientele, and money management.

Lashedbynj has been up and running since 2020. Im known for hybrid/volume sets but I specialize in volume sets specifically. Although I do offer specialty sets for example; “anime set” “wet set” “cateye set “etc. The thing that sets me apart from other lash artists is I’m authentic, I create my own content, I gain my own clientele, I don’t hate on anyone’s growth because I know mine is coming and most of all I genuinely enjoy doing lashes it’s not just about the money. I’m most proud of my brand reels recently hitting 1 MILLION views and almost 800.000 replays. Content is so hard nowadays so it feels like a reward to have that many people liking my content and I only have 1100 followers. Another thing im very proud of is releasing my very first e-book, which is 100 days of content done for you! (Lash Artist Only) I also offer lash bath kits, T shirts, loyalty reward cards, brow threading and foreign fill ins. $100 FULLSETS for your birthday are available all year round.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I see the lash industry expanding at least 3 times the size of what it is now. There is a new lash artist everyday and a new lash supplier everyday. We are all here to help each other win and I think we will do just that in the next 5-10 years. I think a lot of people will not keep going because lashing is not for everyone but I encourage you to consider what you are giving up.
