Hi Dr. Gajwani, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Founded Solace Psychiatry in 2016 after spending 15 years at Various Medical Schools/Faculty positions doing research, publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals, teaching at various local and international meetings, and treating patients with mood disorders. The main aim of starting my practice was to bring evidence-based, latest treatment methods to relieve suffering from mood disorders, to bring relief to patients who have suffered with depression, bipolar disorder, and severe anxiety for many years and have not found relief despite multiple medication trials. Our goal was to bring the best treatment modalities to all residents of fort Bend and surrounding counties. Our clinic offers a comfortable, secure, and warm environment with an excellent team of providers
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The road has been very rewarding. We strongly believe our patients are our best teachers. We have been able to help many people and improve many more lives as psychiatric disorders affect families and communities at large. We have successfully helped many people heal and return back to being productive members of society.

We specialize in treating psychiatric illnesses- depression, bipolar disorder, Anxiety disorder, and Attention deficit disorders to name a few. We have an ethical team with many decades of cumulative experience and believe in providing evidence-based medicine. We provide all the latest treatment modalities such as TS, Ketamine, SPRAVATO, etc.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
Sugar Land is truly the melting pot-most diverse city as is evident without a team also. We really enjoy various cultures, food and music, and the friendliness and warmth of southern culture. only wish we had some hills as I enjoy cycling and have to head out of city limits to get some climbing!
