Hi Regina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I earned my JD from Thurgood Marshall School of Law without initially planning to go into bankruptcy law, but an internship at Davis Peake’s office changed everything. I later had the opportunity to purchase my own practice from a retiring attorney, and 15 years later, I have built a career rooted in experience, trust, and long-term impact.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It wasn’t always smooth. Taking over a small law firm meant stepping into the unknown. There was no guarantee of success, but thankfully I made it work and built a 15 year career out of it.
As you know, we’re big fans of Vasquez Law Group, PLLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a law firm that helps people in life’s most stressful moments. We specialize in bankruptcy and personal injury, guiding with compassion and real solutions when they need support the most.
What sets us apart is the way we connect with people. We do not believe legal help has to feel cold and intimidating. Through our online approach, specifically TikTok, we make legal information feel approachable and relatable. We want our clients to feel like they are talking to a trusted friend who genuinely cares.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of building a presence that feels personal, empowering, and safe. We want others to know that we are here to stand by their side every step of the way.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
When you are staring out, it is easy to feel like you need to have everything figured out but you don’t. Growth comes from experience. Be open to learning. Take opportunities even if they weren’t part of your plan. My plan wasn’t bankruptcy, yet here I am.
