Hi Rosemari, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m the proud owner of The Rose Garden Waxing Studio (TRG) which is a full body waxing studio specializing in vajacials and skin lightening. I opened in July 2021, starting as a home based business and quickly expanding into my own studio space in January 2022. The entrepreneurial spirit has always been in me but I was unsure of what, when and how but I knew I was not going to make money for someone else for the rest of my life.
At the beginning of Covid-19, I was laid off from my pharmacy job and decided to do something that I always wanted. My 2 oldest were close to graduating high school and now money wasn’t as tight (honestly). I started esthetician school and within 2 weeks my previous job called for me to come back, I refused to quit so I turned down the job. A few weeks go by and the company decides my old dept can work from home, they offered me a WFH position and I accepted with the understanding that I was staying in school also. Within 6 months I graduated and tested for my state board license. Upon passing both sections, I was hired at a big chain the same day. I needed the experience so I started working there part time and continued my full time job. After almost 8 months, I decided that I could do this entrepreneur thing and get my own suite. Almost a year later, here I am the proud owner of The Rose Garden Waxing Studio.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
With any business, you have ups and downs but thankfully, I’ve had more ups. My clients love me and I appreciate them more than they know. My Google reviews will tell you everything you need to know about me and my business. All 5 star reviews are from actual clients who return consistently. Now some weeks are busier than others but I usually have one week that is slower than the rest and allows me time to market and promote TRG. Being that I honestly love what I do, I’m always looking for services to add and products that work so my clients can have healthy and glowing skin from head to toe.

TRG is a full body waxing studio specializing in vajacials and skin lightening. During the vajacial, my favorite thing is to extract blackheads and ingrown hairs. If not all, most of my clients know my true passion. Even if my client comes in for just a Brazilian and I see they need a few extra minutes for extractions, I’m doing them. Just like you take care of the skin on your face, you must take care of skin everywhere. I genuinely enjoy talking to my clients either through their first wax or catching up on daily life. If you go and read my Google reviews, a few will speak on my gentle hand and my patience with each client. I’m not rushing to get you in and out like some of the big chains, I take my time. I use a product called Bryght for my skin lightening services which is an all-natural product that utilizes LED lights to help treat acne and lighten hyperpigmentation.
My absolute favorite service is “The White Rose” vajacial package which includes a Brazilian wax, cleansing, extractions, masks and intimate bleaching. Reduces severe hyperpigmentation with an all-natural, non-GMO and vegan-friendly lightening system (Bryght).
