Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Bateman.

Hi Stephanie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have been in the real estate industry for 20 years this year! In 2013, I obtained a Brokers License, the highest real estate license in the state of Texas. Over the years, I have built a resume with 100s of buyers and sellers in the Houston, TX area and have maintained a 5-star rating. In fact, Stephanie Bateman Group has been ranked among the top producing realtors in Houston and in the state of Texas. Each year and each sale continues to challenge me to become the best tool in real estate for my clients. My business model focuses on 1-on-1 support, education, information, professional relationships & a portfolio of local contacts and tools to achieve each client’s goals successfully.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Real Estate is always evolving and challenging. The market changes nearly every season. The pandemic added a whole new dynamic to real estate. Showing homes, meeting new clients, inspections & closings had to be remote or extremely limited in attendance with safety protocols. Video skyrocketed to the forefront of real estate in all aspects. It wasn’t just about showing a home through photos anymore! Many of the changes that became necessary during the pandemic have stayed.

The real estate market in Houston did not slow down during COVID. In fact, the price of homes jumped nearly 20%. Sellers benefited from the lack of homes for sale and increased demand. Buyers and their representatives have had to adapt. For my business, Education and Information became the most important aspect of operations. The pace of the market has put a lot of customers at risk. My experience throughout the years definitely helped me to keep a cool head and represent my clients with honesty and integrity.

I want readers to know that I am one of them! My real life real estate practices both personally & professionally offer great information that I love to share with my clients.  The brand, Stephanie Bateman Group, includes “The Best Tools in Real Estate Grouped” as you’ll see on my Instagram page. Those tools include staging, photography, video, market-leading web advertising, construction, consultation, cultivated home searches, powerful negotiation, statistics, and industry-leading marketing. One of the best benefits my brand provides to buyers and sellers is actual hands on experience and knowledge. Not only have I sold 100s of homes for clients, I have owned 7 homes myself! My personal buyer and seller experiences include waterfront, new construction, ranches, flips, major remodels, town homes, foreclosures and more. All of these real estate transactions have allowed me to have direct personal experience that I can offer to my clients. I made the mistakes so you don’t have to! While real estate may seem straightforward, I can tell you it is not. There are lots of layers to a contract, to a property’s condition & inspections, to financing real estate plus all of the tax implications. It’s important to have an experienced professional looking out for your interests.

Any big plans?
I recently enlisted a friend and Houston photographer to help create some lifestyle marketing using my own home! That hasn’t really been done much in local real estate. Staying a step ahead of the competition is always my plan. With the photos, I wanted to show that I truly live by my brand.  I am a homeowner, my own contractor, a marketing expert & content creator for my clients too. The robust Houston, TX market has attracted many new real estate agents. My goal is to set myself apart from the others by showcasing my brand and it’s tools. In addition, I have been working on a few larger projects with investors including commercial spaces, apartment complexes and multi-family properties. You will also see my website pop up more as we improve Stephanie Bateman Group online presence. A focus on web advertising is also something that sets me apart from my peers. I actually created my own website! My marketing, design, brand and online expertise will continue to help my SELLERS obtain optimal buyer exposure & sales prices. All of these tools also help BUYERS to be competitive and make offers with purpose and knowledge.
