Hi Tania, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Tania. From an early age, I used to help my mother with the housework. I kept my room clean and always made sure that everything in the house was in its proper place. This helped me appreciate a good clean environment.
When I started living on my own, I took the good housekeeping habits with me. I learned new cleaning techniques, better products and scents that help a home look its best.
In 2019 before the pandemic, I had the idea of starting my cleaning business to help people keep their homes and workplaces clean and neat.
At first, things were not easy because it was a new experience for me. I had to get out of my comfort zone and learn a lot about professional cleaning, people management and business management.
After much effort and persistence, I was able to get some clients that helped me to pay the minimum bills of the business but I needed more clients and commercial contracts to keep the business afloat and also to guarantee my personal expenses since I was living off my savings.
But time later with the help of much advertising and marketing, I managed to close my first commercial contract that helped to give the company legs to walk and not give up the idea of own business.
Today after 3 years, the company takes care of the cleaning of several houses and businesses like clinics, spas, gyms, schools condominium and others.
With this positive result, I was inspired to expand the business throughout the country and turn it into a franchise in the coming years that will allow other people with passion in cleaning to have their own business.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a smooth road so far.
