Today we’d like to introduce you to Tarrance Michael

Hi Tarrance, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m a self proclaimed chef. I started cooking at an early age, watching my moms cook and learning from her. The first thing I took notice to was how to season food. Once I got older and on my own, I would call her and get recipes. As I got better with cooking, I started posting my food on Facebook. My friends and followers would encourage me to start selling food. I did the necessary research I needed to start, stepped out on faith, and it really took off for me.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been somewhat smooth. I’ve had some setbacks, but I didn’t let that stop me from achieving my goal. I looked at the setbacks as a learning lesson, and it motivated me to push even harder. Understanding that I still have a long road ahead of me because there’s always more to accomplish once you reach a certain goal. Success is a journey, not a destination.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I’m a private chef and caterer. I specialize in cajun/creole cuisine and soul food, but I can cook almost any type of food. Italian, Mexican, Chinese etc. I’m known for cajun/ creole and soul food. Cajun pastas are the most requested dish. That is a crowd favorite. I believe what sets me apart from others is my dedication to being better than I was yesterday. I’m always trying to get better. My thinking process is that once I put something out there, that it’s not my best. So I’m always trying to improve and be better than the person I was yesterday. I’m most proud of where I came from and the dedication I put forth in building my brand. Plus knowing that I built something that alot of people doubted or thought it was just a temporary thing.
I want readers to know that when you put your trust in me that I’m going bring my best. What I strive for is bringing joy to my customers. Seeing people enjoy my food is a feeling like no other. It’s the joy that it brings to me.
I offer private dining and catering. Whether it’s pickup, delivery, buffet setup or served events. I travel to any location in the US. I have a website and social media that displays all my content and services.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I believe that being a people person and really listening to what my customers or potential customers ask for are qualities and/or characteristics are very important in my line of business and success.
