Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m originally from New Orleans. I relocated to Houston and fell in love with the city. I started my career as an educator. However, I became discouraged with the trajectory in which public education was going. I started to explore my options. I wrote a book in 2018. The book went well but it wasn’t enough. I got into Real Estate and became a mortgage broker. I officially opened Mortgages By Miche in March 2025 and I couldn’t be more excited about my journey.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been easy, the road hasn’t been smooth but I have learned to appreciate the journey. Some of the challenges have forced another level of growth and commitment to the company’s vision and mission. I have learned to keep the main thing the main thing and that is getting my clients to the closing table…..
