Tiffany , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
With a strong foundation in customer service, management, and sales, real estate was a natural choice. I quickly fell in love with the entire process! There is something about showing the homes, watching new buyers plan where to place their furniture and the excitement of seeing all of the possibilities pop up in front of them as they look to their future. Or having sellers walk me through their memories as they give me a tour of the home they are leaving to move onto the next chapter… I am not going to say that every step is easy, or that some parts of the transaction are not stressful or frustrating to the seller, buyer, or myself along the way, but I like to be the guide to walk people through the home buying and selling journey. I enjoy it so much in fact, that I have just launched my own real estate business; Rollingwood Realty LLC! I look forward to continue doing what I love, and I am grateful to be able to do so.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
When it comes to real estate (and opening a business for that matter), if someone were to tell you that it was a smooth road, they would be lying! 😉 There are smooth transactions… and there are not-so-smooth transactions. Any Realtor can tell you that they’ve had contracts fall through for any number of reasons! Any Business Owner can tell you about sleepless nights that they’ve had due to their company. I think the unified struggle of COVID, that every single person has an experience of (one way or another), took a HUGE impact on real estate and businesses everywhere. Perseverance, though!
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Rollingwood Realty LLC?
I am a Realtor and the owner of Rollingwood Realty LLC. I was a Realtor for several years at a different agency, became well-versed in real estate, and had a wonderful opportunity to open my own real estate business in Katy TX. It was one of those moments when you see everything slow down for a second because it just felt so right. I worked towards opening Rollingwood (and all that it entails) and am ecstatic that it is open, it’s official, it’s here!
At Rollingwood Realty LLC, my role is to simplify this journey for both buyers and sellers, which leads to a smooth and enjoyable experience. I am excited to continue providing exceptional service and guidance in the real estate market. Whether one is buying their dream home or selling a cherished property, I am here to help them every step of the way. The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I must circle back to perseverance. The housing market was hectic, to say the least… Multitudes of people were looking for homes and there were just not enough of them for sale. I had a lot of conversations in which I delivered disappointing news when offers (that were up against 50 other offers) were not accepted. A lot of clients gave up or postponed their search. They got discouraged, it was tough to be a buyer or a buyer’s agent during that time. However, the Sellers and the listing agents did well! One needs to look at the positive, and know that whatever the situation is, it will not last forever. Simply stated the lesson is: just hang in there!
