Hidden Gems: Meet TuWana NaToi of Wellness by TuWana NaToi

Today we’d like to introduce you to TuWana NaToi.

Hi TuWana, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I started my journey through wellness as a way to cope after dealing with postpartum depression for the second time. Building a self care brand allowed me to help others prioritize themselves outside of their day-to-day lives. As a single mother my 3 children need me nonstop, and it’s easy to forget about who you are and that you can’t pour from an empty cup.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I started my business in the middle of a pandemic after losing my full-time job. I learned so much about patience and what it takes to build a brand. One of my biggest struggles were creating content I had to force myself to figure out the ends and outs of content. As a handcrafted business, everything is made in small batches to ensure freshness which caused me to sell out pretty fast. I’ve learned to up my quantities and know what my top sellers where and when to discontinue products.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Wellness by TuWana NaToi is a skincare and yoni brand that helps you prioritize self-care. What sets me apart is that I’m a full-time single mom, doula, and I also have a 9-5. I’m showing moms that you can do it all and you don’t have to choose. I love everything about wellness and feeling whole. I want the readers to know that no matter where you are in life you still have to prioritize you and your well-being. You have to fill your cup first before you pour into others and Wellness by TuWana NaToi is here to help you along the way with bath, body, yoni, and men care.

Wellness by TuWana NaToi is currently rebranding so be on the lookout for our new products!

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
My favorite childhood memory is the dreams I had for myself. I didn’t put any pressure on myself; I was determined to do whatever I set out to do. No matter how crazy the dream I wanted to do it!
