Blooming Grounds began in 2024, six months into pregnancy, during a season of life filled with change, excitement and uncertainty. While I was preparing to welcome my daughter into the world, I was also nurturing a dream of my own.
The first product I launched through Blooming Grounds were floral drink carriers, a simple but unique way to combine my love for flowers and coffee. These quickly gained momentum in my community and allowed Blooming Grounds to grow faster than I ever anticipated. From there, I expanded into bouquets and arrangements which eventually inspired me to evolve in a mobile bloom bar. It became a community-driven experience where people could create, celebrate, and connect through flowers wherever they were.
Today, Blooming Grounds continues to grow and operate as a space where creativity and community come together. Every bouquet, arrangement, and bloom bar experience is designed to bring a little more beauty, joy, and intention into the moments that matter most. Blooming Grounds came to be during one of the most beautiful chapters on my life and a reminder that even in the midst of change, there is room to create, evolve, and step into a new version of yourself.
My husband has been one of my biggest supporters, encouraging me to pursue this dream and standing by me every step of the way. My daughter inspires me to keep showing up and create a life that shows her the importance of following your passions.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like most entrepreneurial journeys, it hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Entrepreneurship has a way of teaching you things you never expect. It reveals your strengths, challenges your fears, forces you to step out of your comfort zone and keep going even when things do go as planned. Starting Blooming Grounds has been a journey of building confidence and taking up space in a growing industry, while staying true to what makes my business unique. Each learned experience has not only strengthened Blooming Grounds but has also shaped me into a more resilient and resourceful businesswoman.

Blooming Grounds is a mobile Bloom Bar based in the Houston area that creates interactive floral experiences for brand activations, birthday celebrations, private events, and community gatherings. Guests are able to slow down, handpick their own stems, and leave with an arrangement that feels uniquely theirs. We handle everything from sourcing wholesale-grade florals and designing a beautiful display, to on-site bouquet wrapping and guest assistance.
What sets Blooming Grounds apart is we’re focused on creating high quality moments with high quality florals. Every event is thoughtfully customized to reflect the client’s vision, whether that’s incorporating branded elements for a business activation, matching the event’s color palette, or styling a bloom bar around a themed celebration. Another aspect that sets us apart is the level of care and detail we bring to every event. We create a guided experience where guests are invited to choose their favorite stems, colors, and textures, and I thoughtfully design each bouquet for them, ensuring every bouquet feels balanced and cohesive. This allows guests to enjoy the creative process without feeling overwhelmed by arranging their bouquet to perfection. Doing so also gives event hosts the peace of mind knowing the floral experience is fully supported from start to finish. Blooming Grounds is especially known for our curated flower selection, vibrant color palettes, and abundant variety of blooms. We love offering guests a lush mix of flowers, textures, and tones so they can create bouquets that feel expressive and uniquely their own.
What I’m most proud of is the community Blooming Grounds has cultivated in such a short time. As a small but growing, Latina-owned business, we’ve been welcomed into different coffee shops, book stores, bakeries, Pilates studios, local markets, and private celebrations across Houston. Each event gives me the opportunity to support other local businesses, honor meaningful connections, and create exclusive experiences that people remember long after the flowers have been taken home. I’m also proud of how Blooming Grounds has blossomed into a brand that feels fun, luxurious, and approachable all in one. Something that makes people feel included, inspired and excited to create. Building that balance has been so meaningful to me because it reflects not only the quality of my work, but the heart behind it.
At its core, Blooming Grounds represents my passion for creating beautiful, intentional experiences. From floral design to event details, I love bringing ideas to life and creating moments that feel unique to each celebration. Every bloom bar is an opportunity to embrace a vision and transform it into something tangible, beautiful, and memorable.

I’d like to recognize and thank my Pasadena community for the support and encouragement they’ve shown Blooming Grounds from the beginning. Growing up here, I had the opportunity to watch my dad, who immigrated from El Salvador, build a business, serve our community, and create something he can be proud of. His journey, dedication, and perseverance has always been an inspiration to me. The foundation he built through hard work and sacrifice has allowed me the opportunity to follow my own entrepreneurial path, and that feels incredibly special. Thank you, Dad.
