Today we’d like to introduce you to Vanessa Claudio
Hi Vanessa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Sales has always been in my blood. I come from a family of sales professionals, and early on, I worked in a dealership where I really honed my skills in customer service and relationship building. It’s always felt natural for me to focus on helping people and achieving their goals. Once both of my kids started school, I took a leap and got my real estate license—and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve been fortunate to help over 150 families so far on my own, and now I’m stepping into the role of team leader. My focus is on building a strong, supportive team so we can guide even more families through their real estate journeys and help them achieve their dreams.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Sales is definitely not for the faint of heart. It takes grit and determination to always keep your client’s best interests front and center. Letting go of the fear of rejection and pushing through obstacles has been a huge part of what’s helped me succeed as a realtor. Problem-solving is my superpower! I don’t take no for an answer and I’m always looking for creative solutions to offer in even the most complicated situations.
One of the biggest challenges early on was learning how to balance family, work, and myself. It’s not easy, but finding a structure that works for me and supports my daily life has been one of my greatest accomplishments in building my personal business.
Success isn’t about avoiding challenges—it’s about learning how to rise above them with purpose and passion.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Team leader at Lions Gate Realty ?
I run my real estate business with the precision of a shark and the creativity of a dolphin. What does that mean? I’m fiercely determined to protect and advocate for my clients—always going after what’s best for them—but I do it with heart, intuition, and out-of-the-box thinking that makes the process less stressful and even enjoyable. I’m a soccer mom to two competitive players, and just like on the field, I’m constantly strategizing, anticipating the next move, and making sure my clients walk away with the win. Every family I help feels like part of my team, and I’m not satisfied until they’re holding their house keys with pride.
I specialize in working with first-time homebuyers. It’s my passion! I know how overwhelming and emotional the process can feel, but I’ve built a system with trusted partners—lenders, inspectors, title experts—so my clients have everyone they need in their corner. I take them step-by-step from pre-approval to closing, making sure they feel confident, educated, and empowered the entire way. My goal is for them to walk away not just with a house, but with the knowledge and confidence that they made the best decision for their future.
What sets me apart? I’m most proud of building a brand as a hardworking Latina who wasn’t handed anything. Everything I have, I earned through grit, hustle, and pushing through obstacles that could have broken me—but didn’t. I represent resilience, determination, and success that’s built, not given. That’s what I bring to the table for my clients. If you’re working with me, you’re working with someone who will fight for your goals as if they were my own.
At the end of the day, my brand stands for heart, hustle, and results. I’m here to help families—especially those stepping into homeownership for the first time—achieve their dreams and build generational wealth. I don’t just open doors; I create opportunities.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My biggest advice for anyone just starting out is this: Expect nothing from anyone—only you can limit yourself. No one is going to hand you opportunities. You have to create them through discipline, consistency, and belief in your own potential. Motivation is fleeting. Don’t rely on it. Instead, focus on building discipline. Discipline will get you up early, keep you learning, and push you to make the calls, have the conversations, and do the work even when you don’t feel like it.
One thing I wish I had known when I started was how important your work environment is. Be selective about where you decide to hang your license. This brokerage or team will become your second home—it should be a place that fosters growth, support, and a healthy mindset. Surround yourself with people who inspire you, who celebrate your wins, and who challenge you to level up.
At the end of the day, this business isn’t easy—but it’s worth it if you’re willing to bet on yourself every single day.
