Hidden Gems: Meet Vivian Almanza of Vpretty Aesthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vivian Almanza.

Vivian, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
When I started VPretty, I was honestly just a girl with an idea and a desire to create something for myself. I started from home, and the crazy part is that before getting into esthetics, I had never even gotten a facial myself. I knew nothing about the industry, nothing about running a business, and definitely didn’t have some perfect plan mapped out. I just knew I wanted to learn, and once I started, I fell in love with it.

Everything I know today came from being willing to start before I felt completely ready. I studied, invested in my education, practiced, made mistakes, learned from them, and continued to evolve. What started as me taking clients from home slowly became a real business, a brand, and eventually something that other women trusted not only for their skin, but for education and mentorship as well.

One of the most special parts of my story is that so many of my clients have literally grown with me. When some of them first met me, I was just a young girl starting her business and figuring out life along the way. They’ve watched me grow as an esthetician, move into different spaces, expand my services, become an educator and mentor, and experience one of the biggest changes in my life—becoming a mother.

Now, I look at my life and realize I’m not the same girl who started VPretty from home. I’m a mother, a business owner, an educator, and a woman who has grown so much through the process. And VPretty has grown right alongside me.

There have been beautiful seasons and difficult ones, but my business has been such a constant throughout all of them. My clients have celebrated milestones with me, supported me through different chapters of my life, and trusted me as I continued to grow in my craft. That’s something I’ll never take for granted.

My faith has also become a much bigger part of my life and the way I view my journey. Looking back, I can see God’s hand in so many moments that I didn’t fully understand while I was living through them. What started with very little knowledge and simply taking a chance on myself has turned into something I’m incredibly grateful for.

And I still feel like I’m just getting started. There’s so much more I want to build with VPretty, but I’ll always have a special place in my heart for the girl who started at home, knew almost nothing, and decided to try anyway. She had no idea how much her life was about to change.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I think one of my biggest struggles was simply starting so young and not really knowing what I was doing. I was learning how to be an esthetician while also learning how to run a business at the same time. There was no blueprint. I had to learn through trial and error—how to attract clients, manage money, market myself, set boundaries, stay consistent, and still continue perfecting my craft.

There were seasons when business was amazing and seasons when it was slow, and learning not to let those slower seasons make me question myself was difficult. When you work for yourself, there’s no guaranteed paycheck or someone else making the decisions for you. Everything falls on you, and that can be scary, especially when your business is something you’ve poured so much of yourself into.

Another huge transition for me was becoming a mother. Before motherhood, I could give so much of myself to my business without thinking twice. Once I had my daughter, my priorities shifted. I had to learn how to be present as a mom while still showing up for my clients and continuing to grow the business I had worked so hard to build. There were definitely moments where I questioned whether I was giving enough to my business or enough to motherhood.
With God beside me though, I learned to trust in his alignment and rid myself of finding balance. With Gods alignment I can never fail.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Vpretty Aesthetics ?
VPretty Aesthetics is a skincare-focused business specializing in corrective and results-driven treatments, but I truly believe what happens in my treatment room goes far beyond skin.

Over the years, I’ve become extremely passionate about understanding the skin and treating each client as an individual. I don’t believe in simply giving someone a facial and sending them on their way. I want to understand what their skin needs, educate them on why they may be experiencing certain concerns, create a treatment plan, recommend the right home care, and continue caring for their skin even after they leave my treatment room. Seeing clients who once felt insecure about their skin regain their confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

But what I’m most proud of about VPretty has nothing to do with a treatment, a product, or even a business accomplishment. I’m most proud that my business is backed by God.

As my own relationship with God has grown, I’ve realized that He has trusted me with more than just my clients’ skin. I truly believe He sends me the clients who are meant to sit in my treatment room. There have been so many appointments that may have started as a simple facial but turned into conversations about life, faith, motherhood, difficult seasons, or just how good God has been.

Sometimes someone comes in thinking they’re just there to take care of their skin, and we end up having a conversation they needed in that exact season of their life. Being able to create an environment where women can feel comfortable enough to open up, be cared for, and sometimes be reminded of the goodness of God is something I could have never planned when I first started VPretty.

That is what I believe sets my brand apart. I care deeply about delivering results—I want to transform your skin, and I take my knowledge and responsibility as an esthetician very seriously. But I also care about the person underneath the skin I’m treating.

VPretty offers customized facials and advanced corrective treatments, including chemical peels, microneedling, microchanneling, Green Peel treatments and other modalities tailored to each client’s individual skin concerns. I also educate and mentor other estheticians, which has allowed the impact of what I’ve learned to extend beyond my own treatment room.

At the end of the day, I want people to know that VPretty is a place where you are genuinely cared for. Yes, we can work on your acne, pigmentation, texture, aging concerns or overall skin health—but I want you to leave feeling better than when you walked in, inside and out.

I may be the hands doing the work, but I will always give God the glory for what VPretty has become, the people He continues to place in my chair, and wherever He takes this brand next.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I’ve learned that I don’t have to force what God has for me. The right clients have found me. The right opportunities have come at the right time. Even the difficult seasons have taught me something I needed for the next version of myself and my business.

I’ve also learned that success looks different to me now. When I first started, I probably would have measured success by how booked I was or how much my business was growing. Today, success is being able to do what I love, provide for my daughter, serve people well, pour into other estheticians, and most importantly, build something that honors God.

My biggest lesson has been to stay faithful, stay teachable, and keep showing up. I don’t need to know every step ahead of me. I just need to be obedient with the step God is asking me to take right now.
