Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Eduarte.
Hi Andrew, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in the Philippines and graduated Architecture in 2009 before getting my license in 2011. I moved to the US in 2017 and started working on residential and commercial projects locally with other firms.
During the pandemic, I noticed that a lot of firms were struggling to find dependable local drafting support. That’s what sparked the idea of building a team outside the country that could help fill that gap, and that’s how MADE Studio started.
Today, MADE Studio is a drafting and rendering firm that works with architectural and interior design firms across the US. We help support projects through drafting, renderings, and production work while focusing on strong communication, quality, and reliability.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all, the constant struggle has been training our team and off course the challenge to provide the best service to our customers
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are a drafting and 3D rendering company that supports Architectural and Interior Design Firms in the US. Most of my team are outside the US, mainly in the Philippines so it’s similar to how an outsource company works.
I guess what sets us apart from others is our relationships with our clients. Since we all are working remotely, we communicate with them in a very timeline manner to give them some peace of mind that we are constantly handling their projects and we would be delivering on time.
I would like our company/brand MADE Studio to not only provide drafting / 3D support to our clients but for them to have a different positive type of experience with how skillful people can be given the challenges of all these remote technology. Architecture and Interior Design on the back end can always be a gruesome experience to the designers so our job is to make their lives easier.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Well, aside from our basic Architectural programs, AI has been very fundamental for us in providing answers to our daily issues and products. Also, travelling for me is the best way to be inspired
