Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Magliaro. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Sienna Mulch started in 2009 and has been family owned and operated. Mulch manufacturing has been in the family for decades and the mentality has been passed down generation to generation. Ashley came on in 2013 and grew the social media side. She tapped into the untouched territory by carrying more products and expanding the inventory that we once had. Mario came on in 2021 to become the yard manager and heavy machinery loader. Courtney came on in 2022 to learn the ins and outs of the company to help with the growing market.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I don’t think any road is smooth. In 2018 our grinder engine blew up. We thought it was over for us. Luckily, we were able find and purchase a refurbished engine and continue our work. With that said, I think all the obstacles put in our way have made us a stronger and more resilient company. When COVID hit we didn’t know what to expect. To our surprise, it put our company on the map. With more people staying at home, wanting to grow their own gardens and take care of their yards more we became super busy. Busier than we have ever seen. And for that we are thankful!

Sienna Mulch is a mulch manufacturer in the heart of Rosharon. We are super close to Sienna Plantation, Missouri City, Sugar Land, Pearland, Angleton, Manvel, and Alvin. We are a one stop shop for landscapers and homeowners. We supply landscaping materials for all your yard and garden needs, Most mulch yards only carry mulches, soils, sands, composts, etc. Sienna Mulch carries all of the products but we are also a Green Waste Recycling facility. We grind the green waste two times to make our Premium Hardwood Mulch which we deliver all around the Houston area including Angleton, League City & Friendswood. I am most proud to have expanded our name into carrying gravels, stone, bagged material, fertilizers, etc. Also, the social media side is something I am beyond proud of. I have strived to show our business operations day in and day out to our followers and I think they really enjoy it. We are a family owned and operated business. We are here to build lasting relationships with our customers.
