Today we’d like to introduce you to Ben Carter
Hi Ben, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
After I separated from the U.S. Air Force after 9 years, I wanted to start my own business, so I opened an epoxy flooring business through franchising with a company called Veteran Service Brands, who franchises exclusively to veterans. It was always my dream to become a business owner and I finally made it happen. I’ve wandered through my whole life not knowing what I wanted to do, and I feel like I’ve finally found my passion in becoming a business owner.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, I would not say it’s been a smooth road. The first few months were very scary as I’m sure any new business owner can attest to. It has tested my mental capacities to learn on the fly and also has made me grow exponentially. I continue to work my tail off every day to grow my business and scale it into something great.

MACH ONE Epoxy Floors of Houston – The Woodlands is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that specialized in residential and commercial concrete coating services. We install high end concrete floor coatings in garages, patios, inside residential homes, commercial kitchens, airplane hangars, warehouses, industrial facilities, bathrooms, hospitals, churches, auto repair facilities, and more. We are different from other companies in the area because we served our country, now we are serving our community with integrity and respect. We show up on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories was building dirt or wooden ramps and jumping them on dirt bikes with my friends
