Hi Beth, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, I’m Beth! I am a busy mom, wife, and business owner. Organization has always been my jam, and I love that my team and I are able to help busy families all over Houston and the surrounding areas.
For as long as I can remember, people in my life have told me that I should organize for others. The work that we do brings so much satisfaction; it feels great to be able to help others and see the difference right away!
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I am so grateful for how my business has evolved, but I had to learn a ton! My degrees in Education didn’t fully prepare me for owning and running Side By Side Design Texas. I’ve learned so much and love the work that we do!
Since I am a learner by nature, I love that my skill set has grown tremendously both in helping others with decluttering and organizing in addition to the business aspect as well. I would say that the hardest part is learning how to market and get clients!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Side By Side Design Texas works with families to create a space that they love, whether it’s one small area or an entire home job. We help our clients declutter, organize, sort, and label the items in their homes or workplaces.
The goal is for our clients to know what they have, be able to maintain the system put in place, and also to drive their shopping. By eliminating excess and clutter, people are able to relax and enjoy their homes. We also help clients when they are moving.
During a move, we assist with decluttering before listing, packing, and unpacking. Our team also works with interior decorators by helping homeowners with decluttering, transitioning for a remodel, and organizing the new space!
So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why.
My team loves helping others, and that’s why we do what we do! We specialize in helping clients with ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Clutter affects our brains, causes us to lose focus, and drains our energy.
Our goal is to help our clients find systems that work for their homes and families. As an educator, my love of teaching is the core of who we are. It’s important to help our clients understand the hows and whys of what we are doing so they can do it themselves.
