Visionary Smiles is a story of a dentist with a vision of practicing dentistry at its highest level. Against all odds, Bolade thrived in completing dental school. We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been easy at all.
I came to America 7 years ago as a foreign-trained dentist without papers or money.
Dental school was rigorous and expensive.
After graduation, I had to travel far for work to make a little more money so I can save to start my dream practice.
Starting a new practice from scratch without any patients is very challenging and expensive.

Visionary Smiles is a brand-new, technology-driven dental practice in Stafford, Texas. It’s a state-of-the-art practice where there’s no limit to how far we go to make patients have a good, comfortable experience at the dentist. I am a cosmetic dentist, I specialize in Restoring teeth which includes root canals, crowns and bridges, implants and veneers. I am experienced in surgical extractions and dentures. I have over 14 years of clinical practice, actively learning better ways to make procedures safer, faster, and more efficient. At Visionary Smiles, you can be sure we will keep striving to put patients’ experience first in every decision-making.
We have top-of-the-line dental chairs, x-rays, and equipment. We have massage chair for patients to relax before or after treatment, we have surround sound systems to play any music that patients wants to relax them. We offer sedation. We have neck pillows and blankets to make patients comfortable. We even offer wine and mimosas all complimentary.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I am a risk taker, but I take calculated risks. I took a risk by leaving my government job as a dentist and coming to pursue education in America.
I took a risk by leaving my well-paying job to start my own practice.
There’s no return without risk, the greater the risk the greater the returns. However, I believe you need to be well-prepared before taking the risk so that the odds can be in your favor
