Inspiring Conversations with Bradley Hall of Granny’s Helping Hand

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bradley Hall.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story begins with family. My grandmothers played a significant role in my upbringing, and both were influential in the development of how I now view the world. Fast forward, one of my grandmothers was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease in 2018. My family and I weren’t familiar with how to effectively support her. Because of our strong family ties, we knew that nursing home was not an option. So I prayed and God answered. He sent us an angel to provide home care and restore my granny’s quality of life. It brought my family joy to see glimpses of her vibrancy return, and provided us peace of mind to know she was in good hands when we were away. That is how Granny’s Helping Hand was born. It began as a mission to provide others the peace of mind that our family received during such a difficult time. Since then, our mission has evolved into a ministry providing transformational experiences to each family that we are blessed to serve.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When God called me to this space, the only knowledge I possessed in helping others was experience as a Personal Trainer and Educator. So there were a ton of unknowns. The unknowns create uncertainty which often time serve as impediments that inhibit successfully continuing the journey. We faced software challenges, hiring challenges, and most important to the mission and bottom line, new clients which were tough to come by being a new agency in the industry. Smooth seas don’t produce good sailors and smooth roads in business don’t produce patience and appreciation needed for longevity. You have to trust the process.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a home care agency whose mission and objectives are rooted in spiritual principles. We provide transformational experiences by way of defying decline and restoring resiliency in our vulnerable population. Our organization understands that meals are connected to medical conditions and medications. So it is our life’s work to improve the lives of our seniors through holistic health and wellness practices that reduces the impediments to their independence. We follow the framework of our proprietary S.T.R.O.N.G Method which addresses every dimension of our seniors’ wellbeing.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Hospitality. We view service through the lens of hospitality. Basic home care responsibilities are where we start, not where we end. We are always evaluating ways to improve the experience for our seniors and our staff. We’ve noticed this approach allows everyone to feel seen, heard, and understood. It’s served as a sticking mechanism in retention of our care recipients and care team members.
