Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittanny Gormer.
Brittanny, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My motivation truly started with my children. One of my sons, in particular, was diagnosed with autism, and that became a pivotal moment in my life. Everything shifted — from my availability to work to how I balanced being a single mother of four. That experience strengthened my purpose. I’ve always dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur, and his diagnosis gave me the drive to create a life with more flexibility and impact.
I launched my first business — Outstanding Qualities Care, a home health care agency — and invested every dime I earned into getting licensed with the State of Texas. Through determination and faith, I was able to secure my license while already managing a few clients. That step allowed me the freedom to prioritize my son’s therapy appointments and ensure he received the support he needed to thrive. Seeing his progress has been one of my greatest accomplishments.
As a mother of four, I made it my mission to build four streams of income. My first was my home health care agency. My second was investing in property. My third came through my career as a Registered Behavioral Therapist, which I pursued not only to grow professionally but also to better understand and support my son’s development. My fourth stream is my notary business, The Blooming Notary Collective, where I also mentor and train others — including close friends — to become notaries and build their own success.
Most recently, in September 2025, I began monetizing my presence on social media. I realized that if I was going to invest time creating content, I wanted to do it with purpose and profit. Within one month, I grew my following to over 2,000 and secured multiple brand collaborations with major companies in hair care, skincare, and even an energy drink brand — which aligns perfectly with my lifestyle. Now, on TikTok (@Brittanny.blessed), I have nearly 3,000 followers, and my audience has even nicknamed me “Ms. Texas” for the way I celebrate Texas culture and music in every collaboration.
For the past five years, I’ve focused on both spiritual and professional growth. I’ve learned to trust the process, stay disciplined, and walk in faith. People often ask how I manage to balance it all — being a mom, entrepreneur, and creator — and I always give all the credit to God. Everything I’ve accomplished has been through His guidance and grace. I truly feel blessed and believe this is only the beginning.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced has been learning how to balance motherhood, business, and career, especially as a single mother. There were seasons where I had to make difficult choices, but through it all, my faith has guided me. God has always made a way, and I truly believe He continues to position me for growth — both as a mother and as a leader.
When my son was diagnosed with autism, it shifted my entire perspective. I made the intentional decision to prioritize his development and well-being above everything else. That meant temporarily putting some of my career goals on hold so I could ensure he had every resource, therapy, and opportunity he needed to thrive and enjoy a full, balanced life alongside his brothers.
Looking back, those sacrifices were necessary and deeply meaningful. They taught me resilience, patience, and purpose — qualities that now shape how I approach my career, business, and leadership.
As you know, we’re big fans of Outstanding Qualities Care & The Blooming Notary Collective . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Outstanding Qualities Care is truly my pride and joy in the healthcare field. I started working as a caregiver at 19, and after 10 years in the industry, I realized I wanted to build something of my own — a company where I could provide the kind of high-quality, compassionate care I always envisioned but didn’t have control over working for others.
I founded Outstanding Qualities Care with a vision of Black excellence and luxury-level service, specializing in personalized care that goes beyond the basics. We offer unique specialty services like Memory Care, which focuses on mental stimulation and creativity through engaging activities; Discover Wellness, which nurtures the four dimensions of wellness — physical, social, emotional, and spiritual; and Premier Personal Grooming, bringing barbers, stylists, and nail techs directly to clients’ homes for a refreshing self-care experience.
Our mission is simple — to deliver graceful, elegant, and customized care that enhances quality of life and brings wellness and dignity to every client we serve.
The Blooming Notary Collective is my notary and signing agent business, primarily focused on real estate transactions and apostille services. What makes this business especially meaningful to me is its community-centered mission. I offer free general notary services — including mobile and remote options — to families caring for individuals with autism, because I understand firsthand the importance of accessibility and support.
Beyond providing services, I started The Blooming Notary Collective to give back and create opportunities for others. I mentor individuals who want to start their own notary businesses, showing them how to do so with low startup costs and practical guidance. It’s been a rewarding way to combine entrepreneurship with purpose — helping others build financial independence while serving the community.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see the healthcare industry continuing to grow, especially with the rapid advancement of technology. Innovations are transforming how care is delivered and how we connect with patients. However, I believe that while technology can enhance efficiency and access, healthcare itself will always remain deeply personal. It’s about compassion, human connection, and understanding each individual’s unique needs — qualities that can’t be automated. For me, the future of healthcare lies in balancing technology and humanity to ensure care remains both effective and heartfelt.
I see the notary industry continuing to grow, especially with the rise of digital technology and remote online notarization. More people are looking for convenient, secure, and accessible options for their document needs — especially in real estate and legal transactions.
For my business, The Blooming Notary Collective, I believe the future lies in combining technology with personal connection. While online tools make the process faster, what truly sets us apart is the trust, professionalism, and community care we provide. My goal is to keep expanding our services — from real estate signings to apostille transactions — while continuing to give back through free notary services for families caring for individuals with autism and mentoring others who want to enter the industry.
For me, it’s about evolving with the times while keeping the human touch that makes this work meaningful.
