Today we’d like to introduce you to Caimar Salizi.
Hi Caimar, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Caimar Salizi — I’m originally from Angola, a country on the southwest coast of Africa. I moved to the U.S. to pursue my engineering degree, but along the way, I found my true passion in creating.
It all started when I shared my personal desk setup on YouTube — not because I had a strategy or plan, but simply because I was passionate about what I had built. I loved the process of designing a space that was functional, aesthetic, and inspiring. And to my surprise, people started paying attention. They connected not just with the gear I shared, but with how I presented it — the storytelling, the vibe, the intentionality.
That momentum carried over to Instagram, where one post unexpectedly took off with now 18 million views and changed everything. I went from 2,000 followers to over 100,000 in just two months. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible brands like Samsung, Walmart, LinkedIn, and Meta — partnerships I never imagined when I was just filming at my desk.
Today, I get to connect with a global community of tech lovers, creators, and work-from-home professionals who — like me — just want to have the right piece of gear by their side and a workspace they genuinely enjoy being in.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think there’s such a thing as a smooth path to any kind of success. And for me, it definitely wasn’t.
Most people don’t know this, but this wasn’t my first attempt at YouTube. The first time I tried, my videos were super unpolished. I didn’t know anything about lighting, editing, photography — all the skills that I now believe are essential for a creator to grow and stand out. I had the passion, but not the craft. So I stepped away, learned, experimented, failed some more, and slowly kept getting better.
I’ve actually been in this space for around seven years now — so this is far from an overnight success story. It took a lot of time, patience, and struggle. But honestly, I think those tough moments are what build your character. They teach you how to problem-solve, how to stay consistent, and how to handle both the wins and the setbacks.
Looking back, I’m grateful for every rough patch. Because those were the moments that shaped me — not just as a creator, but as a person.
We’ve been impressed with Prolue Media, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What I do sits at the intersection of creativity, tech, and storytelling. My brand — under my name, Caimar Salizi — is focused on helping people create better workspaces, discover tools that genuinely elevate their workflow, and inspire both creators and professionals to build setups that support productivity and creativity.
I specialize in high-quality content centered around desk setups, home offices, tech accessories, and digital products. Whether it’s an in-depth YouTube video, an engaging Instagram Reel, or a digital wallpaper pack I design myself, everything I share is created with intention — to serve, inspire, and connect.
What truly sets me apart is my unconventional career path. I didn’t come into this space as a traditional content creator. I started as an engineering student, then opened my own staffing agency that operated across three car dealerships. After that, I became the operations manager at a life insurance agency, where I was in charge of planning large-scale conventions. Later, I transitioned into tech as a software engineer recruiter. At each step, I maximized every opportunity and operated at the highest level — and I brought all of that experience with me into content creation.
That mix of structure, strategy, and creative freedom gives my brand a unique voice. I don’t just showcase tech — I show how to use it, how to elevate your space, and how to make your environment work for you.
I also offer digital products like high-resolution wallpaper packs inspired by tech and pop culture — crafted specifically for creators, remote workers, and desk setup enthusiasts. And right now, I’m building a dedicated community for content creators who want to level up — from gear and branding to affiliate income and storytelling.
At the end of the day, I want readers to know: this isn’t just about aesthetics or gear. It’s about helping people build spaces that empower them — to focus, to create, and to thrive.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Absolutely. If there’s one thing I’d leave your readers with, it’s this:
You don’t need to have the “perfect” background, the fanciest gear, or all the answers figured out to start building something meaningful. I came from a completely different industry, made a ton of mistakes, and learned everything on the go — but I stayed consistent, stayed curious, and kept showing up. That made all the difference.
Whether you’re a content creator, a tech lover, or just someone trying to make your workspace feel more like you — there’s room for you in this space. And if you’re willing to put in the time, learn the craft, and stay true to your vision, the results will follow.
I’m excited for what’s ahead — not just for me, but for the community we’re building together. And if my journey can be even a small part of someone else’s inspiration to get started, then that means everything.
