Inspiring Conversations with Christopher Anthony of V.I.P Coaching & Consulting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Anthony.

Hi Christopher, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My roots came from California but I was born and raised in Dallas TX at the beginning of my life until I moved to East Texas and graduated High school from there. I was the kid that watched everyone and everything and was always looking for a more effective and efficient way to get things done. I remember telling my mom at 8yrs old that I would change our family tree and be a multi-millionaire, now it was just me thinking of how exactly to get that done. I would find ways to earn money and spend it on those that I loved.

Different ways like selling sneakers, selling candy, convenience stores, etc. This gave me the knowledge that I knew what hard work was but I was still missing some variables because everyone works hard after getting the opportunity to play D1 college football I realized more and more that those variables were mindset, skillset, relationships, and a guide with the vehicle for me. I was able to then meet a man that challenged me to all those variables and that’s when I knew, I found a place to become more! Now I’m able to help others succeed by coaching High Achievers to get to the next level by overcoming external and internal challenges and consulting them on how to develop and grow their businesses.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My definition of a smooth road in entrepreneurship is a road that no- one has driven. As a result, no one wants to travel on this road, and everyone sees it as an example. In Entrepreneurship, in my opinion, if you have a smooth road, you haven’t taken a journey to the destination you want to arrive at. While the Journey will be similar in terms of the negatives we all encounter on the way to success, the visual of the Journey will be unique to us.

Some of the struggles I had were being authentically me with my standards, having more empathy, and overcoming the fact that if you want to provide a product or a service, there will be people that say no, and I have to be ok with that. Learn, if anything, what you could have done differently, and have enough EQ to move forward and not let it get to you because there are others out there waiting for your product/service. Being willing to give more than receive will always be the name of the game in life and entrepreneurship. However, with the help of a coach or mentor, challenges can be overcome, which is why I love what I do.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
V.I.P Coaching & Consulting is a business service that helps guide High Achievers to the next step and beyond by overcoming internal and external challenges they may have and consulting entrepreneurs on how to grow themselves and their businesses. We provide our coaching clients with the space to be authentically themselves and find the answers within to become a better version of themselves through questioning.

Our consulting clients give us their expertise and vision about their industry, and we offer them knowledge and impact on our end with the framework to gain more productivity, now, they are V.I.P. We pride ourselves on impact. We are grateful for the impact made, but we are only as good as the individual and business we have impacted next.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and are any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I learned the importance of human interaction, and how people wanted deeper relationships vs. surface-level talk.

In a world that dealt with heavy negative emotions and fear, people clung to positive energy and the language of hope and a brighter future like water in a desert. Coaching was able to thrive throughout this time period for the ones that knew there was light at the end of the tunnel and that they could build something for themselves to be their own light.
