Today we’d like to introduce you to Dana Aguilar.
Dana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Both parents died when I was little.
Grew up very poor.
Went through terrible things because of that.
Wanted a family of my own started at 17.
Have 4 kids 32, 31, 28, 21 and 3 grandkids
I didn’t want my kids to go through what I went through so I moved them to Tomball once my son started middle school (he’s a doctor of nuclear physics now)
Started as a secretary at a medspa 22 years ago. They saw my potential and promoted me to sales consultant, then sales manager Went to another medspa as their practice manager.
Everyone wanted me to do their treatments cause they trusted me. So I went to school after work and weekends started working for another spa. Doing their treatments cause treatments. Finally went into business with a friend. Now I’m at my own medspa 3 years.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not smooth.
Struggled to afford daycare so I could work and go to school.
Struggled in relationships because of my work schedule and going from nothing to something.
Struggled with fatigue and pain because of my lupus.
Struggled with my friend in business cause she wanted to be queen b and I got on a fox 26 tv show. Which she was jealous and I do lots of Houston celebs so she didn’t like that.
We’ve been impressed with Snatched by Dana , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Botox, dysport, fillers, peels, micro needling
I’m top 1 % in the nation for dysport RESTYLANE and sculptra.
I make it affordable for everyone to look and feel pretty.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I’d have to really think about that because I do t have many
