Today we’d like to introduce you to Donald Fleming.
Hi Donald, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I got into chiropractic because of a conversation I had with my high school counselor. I knew I wanted to help others but wasn’t sure how. The counselor noted that being a chiropractor I could help others, make a decent living and still be able to have leisure time. It sounded like a perfect fit and I graduated from the Texas Chiropractic College in 1995.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I could write a book about the journey; it has been both positive and negative. Time management was an early struggle, wanting to be there at all times for my patients but also needing to be home or take time off with my family and kids. Insurance companies are a constant struggle. To them it’s all about the money and to me it’s making sure my patients are living life at their most optimal state. We all know insurance is difficult and being on the holistic side of healthcare, there’s more hoops to jump through to get a fair pay.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a family practice and I see patients of all ages and ailments. No one is a dollar sign and to me it is important to develop a good doctor- patient bond to ensure you know that I’m here to help you. I always tell my new patients to think of me as a mechanic and they are a car. I’m here to tune you up every now and to make sure things are running smoothly. I do pride myself on being affordable and we accept most insurances to ensure everyone can get the care they need. We offer cash packages for those who don’t have or choose not to use their insurance that helps save money. I do manual manipulation, we have a zero gravity massage chair, massage therapists and a couple supplements and natural pain relievers.

I am a firm believer in taking care of others and they’ll take care of you.
My patients are the reason I am able to take care of them for 30+ years, they’re my number one supporters and advocates. Of course my mom, wife and kids are my biggest fans and I thank them everyday for that. I also have to highlight Gina, my office manager, who has been with the clinic for 30 years. Gina is the backbone and I appreciate her contribution to making the office run smoothly all these years.
