Well, honestly for starters I never thought I would be a proud business owner of ‘’Itz The Hair’’. What made me look into the industry of beauty, was after receiving a quality of hair that I was not quite satisfied with. After experiencing the results from low-quality hair, numerous times. That’s when I knew it was time for me to enter the Beauty Industry to make a difference. In 2020 that’s when ‘’ Itz The Hair’’ was launched. I’ve always been a fan of styling my own hair. So it was now time to dust off my styling skills and invest in some classes; such as wig-making, hair coloring, and other essential skills that will benefit ‘’Itz The Hair’’. One thing is for sure, wig making has always been my passion. Most of my clients or potential clients just assume that I sell wigs. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When it comes to being an entrepreneur, the road is never smooth. You’ll have your dips, bumps, and humps along the way. One of the biggest obstacles had to overcome, was introducing myself to social media again as an entrepreneur. While being an entrepreneur, I noticed it comes with having to wear many different hats. One hat for sure that I’ve struggled with was marketing, marketing was quite overwhelming. Just the thought of having to constantly promote myself was frustrating. I was not really a social media type of person, who was also very camera shy. But I knew I had to put my fears aside if I wanted to become successful.

With being an entrepreneur, you don’t really have any luck. Your success is about how you run your business. You have to take risk in order to succeed in the next step. Whether the luck is good or bad. You still must remain level-headed in order to become successful. When it comes to my personal life, I believe in God and taking one day at a time as long as I’m breathing.
