Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After returning to Houston from an expat assignment I came up with the idea to make urns locally. My family is in the funeral business so being around this environment was not unfamiliar to me. So I came up with a design and prototype and begin to sell them. I now manufacture custom urns and ship them countrywide.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Finding the right combination of machines and material were some of the initial hurdles. That’s been larger resolved now. Today’s challenges revolve around marketing because urns are not a product everyone is rushing to buy.

LEO Memorial Concepts is an urn manufacturer located in Houston Tx. We specialize in lightweight, personalized totally customizable urns. I’m most proud of the ability to take an idea and make a custom urn that a family can honor and remember their loved one in.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Cremations are a growing trend. It has exceeded burials and will continue to increase.
