Today we’d like to introduce you to Jackie Addison.
Hi Jackie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I wish I had something profound to say as far as the conception of Snap & Pop Events, however the magic of it is that it came together naturally and rather unexpectedly. I developed a passion for makeup artistry that spans over the last 15 years, so I’ve had the desire to create for many years now. My niece was graduating from high school, and I knew there was going to be a photo booth there so I decided I wanted to create a balloon backdrop…because who doesn’t love balloons? I enjoyed seeing how much fun everyone was having while they snapped shots at the photo booth and all the compliments I received on the balloon statement I created. I guess I can say that’s when I fell in love with the idea. I took a leap of faith and purchased my first photo booth. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit but hadn’t quite found my lane until Snap & Pop. Consistency has been key in my journey in building my brand over the last 8 months. I thank God for my incredibly supportive husband, who is my right-hand man, and my inner circle of friends and family who truly believe in my vision for Snap & Pop.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It can be challenging when you think about all the processes that go into running a business while simultaneously being the design team, social media manager, accountant, and operator. It’s been far from smooth but it’s been rewarding and one of the most empowering journeys I’ve ever embarked on.

Any big plans?
I’m looking forward to continuing to build off of our current momentum and being a leader in the industry for major photo booth activations and balloon installations. I hope to expand by adding additional booths to our line up this year. My vision for Snap & Pop Events is to offer full-service event planning with a complete team of professionals and to one day own an event space. A one stop shop for all your event needs.
