Today we’d like to introduce you to Janell Jones
Hi Janell, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been into beauty since high school. In high school I did my friend’s nails and played in makeup a lot. I’ve always loved all things beauty even though I was in college to become a nurse. I started performing eyelash extensions in New Orleans where I’m from in 2017 and soon went on to attend esthetician school. I am now a licensed esthetician specializing in eyelash extensions, full body waxing and brow artistry in Houston Texas.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a bumping ride transitioning to a new city where you have no friends, no family and no one knows you. Building clientele in a city where I know no one from the ground up has been difficult but I stand strong in faith and stay true to my passion. That in itself makes the struggle worth it .

I am a licensed and insured esthetician specializing in full body waxing , eyelash extensions, and brow artistry. I am known for my speed waxing skills and being able to do a Brazilian wax in less than 15 minutes. I am also know for my special “Walk-In Wednesdays with Complimentary Muffins and Mimosas”. My personality, the bond I build with my clients, and the luxury experience and vibe is what sets me apart from others. Anyone can do what you do but only you can be who you are !
Any big plans?
In the future I plan to open my own salon and bring back the 90s vibe to the new era beauty industry. I plan to start teaching courses to the upcoming estheticians looking to learn new skills. I also will be launching my own product line soon.
