Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Francois.
Hi Jennifer, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am a native to Katy, and have lived all over the Houston area which gives a unique perspective to Real Estate as I’m extremely familiar with most areas of our great City. I started in Real Estate while in college at The University of Houston. I managed apartment communities for Camden Properties for 13 years, which started my love for helping my customers find their new home. I was recruited by a short-term furnished corporate housing company and served as the Area Manager for the Houston Metropolitan area, managing 200 short term furnished rentals for the next 5 years. I’m now in my 8th year as a Realtor and am the owner and founder of Francois Property Group, brokered by Keller Williams Premier in Katy. I sell about 40-50 homes a year, and 95% of my clients come to me through repeat and referral clients. I am deeply engaged and committed to giving back to my community. I am the President of the Weston Lakes Women’s Association, where we not only build relationships within our community of Women through social events and educational events, but our primary focus is raising money for our section of Fort Bend County for grants and scholarships for graduation seniors. I sponsor our local schools, am a member of the Fulshear BNI Group-Next Level, a member of the Fulshear Katy Chamber for Commerce, am on Board for Fulshear Band Booster, am a productivity coach to other agents, and most importantly a mom to two smart, beautiful girls and a wife to my wonderful husband Pierre of 19 years.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, but I firmly believe that it’s not what happens its how we respond to it. Real Estate can be a rocky road, but the people we choose to partner with are what matters most. I can’t control what happens, but I can control how well my clients are educated from the beginning, and how we react to the challenges each real estate transaction has in store for us.
