The Goddess Collection Store was created in 2016 by Jennifer Galjour of Houston, Texas when she found herself not completely satisfied with over-the-counter lotions and body butters that left her skin not feeling as she desired.
After conducting a lot of online research and mixing various natural butters and oils; Goddess Butter and Goddess Scrub was birthed using the most simple yet highly moisturizing ingredients. Goddess Butter will provide you with a warm glow and will have the driest of skin moisturized throughout the day.
In addition to owning The Goddess Collection Store, Jennifer Galjour launched Neema Property Management & Consulting in June 2021 as a premier property management and real estate firm serving Houston and the surrounding areas. On exclusive projects, she also serves as Project Manager/Consultant in coordinating and designing office suites for business professionals.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
While working in corporate America, The Goddess Collection was initially a side hustle but now that I am a full-time entrepreneur, I am working to take my business to the next level. Most of my struggles are surrounded around funding and building business credit.
I’m starting small and utilizing all of my resources but to truly get your products out there to a broader audience, it takes funding, marketing and extensive branding.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As an entrepreneur, I am currently operating two companies that I am passionate about.
The Goddess Collection Store represents my love to provide an all-natural and hyper-moisturizing product for both men and women (no additives or water) that will reveal their best-looking skin. Our skin is our largest organ, so it is only right that we take care of it the best way we can. What makes my Goddess Butter and Goddess Scrub so unique is that since inception I have done very little marketing outside of my Instagram and Facebook page; I have been able to grow a very loyal customer base who always refer my brand to their friends and family.
Neema Property Management & Consulting is my baby! I worked in property management for over 20 years and in June of 2021, I launched my company. I specialize in providing small to medium size investors property management services for their real estate portfolios. Shortly, I will also receive my Texas real estate license; this will allow me to add an additional service to my clients to buy and sell properties. I am beyond proud of the success I have had in both my businesses; had this conversation occurred 2 years ago, you could not have told me that I would be living out both my dreams simultaneously and creating the life I have always wanted for myself.
