Today we’d like to introduce you to Kassidy Oneill
Hi Kassidy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began my esthetics journey in 2021, shortly after graduating high school. Although I’ve only been a licensed esthetician for 3 years, my love of the beauty industry started much earlier, stemming from watching my mom do her hair and makeup, and even shaping my uncle’s eyebrows when I was 10 in my grandmother’s kitchen.
In high school, as my own skin and that of my peers started changing, I invested countless hours learning how to address various skin issues.
Immediately after graduating, I enrolled at Aveda Institute Houston, completing their full-time program in under a year and earning my esthetics license in 2021.
Since then, I’ve continued expanding my expertise, first at Hand & Stone and later at a med spa, where I practiced radiofrequency microneedling, non-ablative lasers, and medical-grade peels. This experience allowed me to perfect my knowledge of corrective skincare.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not, nothing great is easy! But I love a good challenge. After outgrowing the med spa I had zero savings but I knew I wanted to start Enhanced beauty Bar and spa ASAP. I put EVERYTHING and I mean everything on my credit cards, I struggled my opening months big time trying to figure out marketing and drive repetitive business… No one ever tells you how hard it is to show people that you exist!!

I started Enhanced Beauty Bar and Spa
recognizing that most Texans have limited time for self care, our spa’s mission is to provide an enriching experience that extends beyond the visit. We educate guests about the rituals and benefits of spa treatments, empowering them to continue the experience at home. Education is central to everything we do. We undergo continuous training to better understand and serve our guests’ needs. Our skincare services specialize in corrective treatments, including facials, dermaplaning, nanoneedling, and chemical peels. We’ve recently expanded our offerings to provide full-body scrubs, waxing, and Japanese scalp treatments. We take great pride in using natural ingredients to deliver excellent results for our clients.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
My advice for networking is to get yourself out there! Wear your scrubs out! People ask me all the time what I do and when I explain I’m an esthetician they then ask about my routine and what I recommend! That’s when I hand them my card! Not only that join local groups for your city! Best way to find a mentor or people to network with!
