Today we’d like to introduce you to Katie Weaver.
Hi Katie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Getting into this industry has truly been a journey — one I never imagined for myself as a little girl. Growing up, I always thought I’d become a school teacher. I even earned my associate’s degree in 2020, but because of COVID, I never got the chance to walk the stage. With the world shut down, everything felt uncertain… but looking back, that moment was the beginning of my real dream.
I remember the exact day everything shifted. We were out on the boat at Lake Houston, and I looked at my mom and said,
“I don’t think I’m going back to finish my degree next semester. I think I want to start looking into a skincare career.”
She didn’t hesitate — she just said, “I support you no matter what.”
That was all I needed.
After some research, I found a program close by and started esthetician school in August 2021. By May 2022, I graduated and officially stepped into the world of esthetics. My aunt owned a massage business here in Crosby and offered me a room to get started. I built my very first clients in that little space, and in May 2023, I moved into my own suite — which is now Boho Bliss Aesthetics — and I’ve been blooming here ever since.
As I grew, so did my passion for expanding what I could offer. I became certified in lash extensions in July 2022, and in April 2025 I achieved one of my biggest goals: getting certified in aesthetic injections. Most recently, I’ve even begun training in piercings — something I’m excited to add to my service menu soon.
In this industry, you can’t stay on cruise control. You have to keep learning, keep growing, keep adding to your skill set — and thankfully, achieving goals is something I’ve always thrived on. This is just the beginning for me, and I can’t wait to see where the next few years take Boho Bliss, my clients, and this dream I get to live every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Honestly, I can’t say it’s been an extremely hard road — but it hasn’t been without its challenges. What I can firmly say is that I would not be where I am today without my family and my faith. God has provided for me in more ways than I ever could’ve imagined, and every time I’ve faced a struggle, He has shown me there’s another side to it.
There have definitely been moments of fear and uncertainty. Being a one-woman show is not easy — you’re the provider, the scheduler, the cleaner, the marketer, and the support system all in one. At times it can feel overwhelming, but I remind myself that God would not have placed me here if I wasn’t capable of walking this path.
On the days when I get scared or doubt tries to creep in, I lean on the truth that He put me in this position for a reason. That reminder keeps me grounded, motivated, and confident that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

Boho Bliss Aesthetics is my little sanctuary in Crosby, TX, where I focus on soft, natural beauty and genuine connection. I specialize in aesthetic injections ( lip filler & Botox), lash extensions, facials, and soon, piercings. My goal is always to enhance natural features in a way that feels subtle, confident, and true to each person.
What truly sets my brand apart is the relationships I build. I take time with every client who walks through my door — listening, educating, and creating treatment plans that feel personal. People don’t just come for a service; they come for the experience and the trust we build together.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the warm, calming, and intentional environment I’ve created. Boho Bliss isn’t high-pressure or rushed — it’s a place where clients can relax, feel seen, and leave feeling like the best version of themselves.
At the heart of everything I do is the belief that beauty should feel empowering. And as my skills and services continue to grow, my goal remains the same: helping each person feel confident, cared for, and completely themselves.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy really comes down to two things: connection and impact.
On a personal level, nothing fills my heart more than spending quality time with my friends and family. Being surrounded by the people I love grounds me, inspires me, and reminds me why I work so hard.
Business-wise, my happiness comes from the little moments — the smile at the end of a treatment, the excitement when a client sees their results, and the joy of hearing, “Someone recommended you to me.” Those moments mean everything, because they show that the work I’m doing matters and that people genuinely trust me. Knowing I played a small part in someone feeling more confident brings me so much happiness.
