Inspiring Conversations with Kim Haynes of Love K&R Property Group/Helping Gods people Non-Profit

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kim Haynes

Kim , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I grew up in the heart of New Orleans, where struggle was not just a word—it was a way of life. I watched my mother work tirelessly, stretching every dollar just to keep food on the table. I saw the worry in her family’s eyes, the sacrifices made, the dreams put on hold. But even as a young girl, i made a silent promise to myself: this would not be my story.

Then came Hurricane Katrina, a storm that swept away not just homes but entire lives. Forced to leave behind everything i knew, my family and I found refuge in Houston, Texas. At first, it was unfamiliar, a new city in the midst of chaos. But something about Houston felt different—it felt like possibility. Though i eventually returned to New Orleans for work, she never forgot the feeling Houston gave me.

Years later, i made a bold decision—I packed up my life and returned to Houston, this time with a vision. Real estate was a world i had never stepped into, a career i knew nothing about. But i had something far more valuable than experience—grit, determination, and a heart that refused to settle for less.

As a single mother of three, the road was anything but easy. Balancing motherhood, learning an entirely new industry, and building a business from the ground up tested me at every turn. There were moments of doubt, deals that fell through, and days where giving up seemed like the only option. But i refused to break. With the unwavering support of my mother, who now lived with her in Houston, i pushed forward.

Fast forward nearly five years, and I Kim Haynes is no longer just a woman chasing a dream—I am the dream. I have sold close to millions in real estate, from residential to commercial and investment properties. But i didn’t stop there. I expanded, creating multiple companies within the real estate industry, turning my success into a legacy.

My story is more than just one of financial success—it is a testament to resilience, faith, and unshakable determination. From a childhood of struggle to an empire built with her own two hands, i have proven that no matter where you come from, your future is yours to create.

Kim Haynes is not just a realtor. She is an inspiration.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Over the next five years, the real estate market will continue evolving with technology, shifting buyer trends, and economic factors. High interest rates and affordability challenges may push buyers toward smaller cities and creative financing options.
