Today we’d like to introduce you to Krista McDaniel.
Krista, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Before owning Kreative Media, I owned a women’s clothing boutique for 10 years. During that time, I would have marketing agencies reach out to me constantly and never would receive that promises that were guaranteed. I decided to do my own marketing for my boutique and was one of the top ones in the industry plus featured on ABC numerous times for our out of the box marketing.
In 2020, I decided to start my own digital marketing agency called Kreative Media. My goal was to create an upscale and client oriented experience for every client we came in contact with. My number 1 goal is client service and getting our clients real and tangible results. Rather if you are a start up or a big corporation our client service and goals remain the same. We understand how important your brand is and we take it on as our own. Most of clients will say, we know their brand better than they do by the time we are a few months in. I was a 1 person show in 2020 reaching out to potential clients on social media and cold calling the old fashion way. We now have a team of 9 people and opening our first office space off of 1488 with a state of the art photo and video studio for our clients and to rent out to our community.
We were voted one of the top digital marketing agencies in The Woodlands. We are a 1 stop shop for all digital marketing to make the voice of your brand cohesive on all channels. We specialize in website and logo design, social media management, videography + photography, SEO and ad management. All of our clients are taken to the next level when they sign on with Kreative Media.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not always been easy. When I started in January of 2020 it was pre covid and budget for businesses wasn’t an issue. When Covid hit in March of 2020 the world changed as we knew it and companies doors were forced to close. We maintained our current clientele but signing on new clients came to a halt due to fear and budget. Our out of the box marketing however helped us to continue to grow our clients in a different way as we had to pivot all marketing. All of our clients were so thankful that they were already digital when all of their competitors were scrambling to get online and have a social media presence.
Another big learning curve was taking the leap of faith to grow. I hired my first employee January of 2021 and was terrified of handing off some of the responsibility/clients. We ended 2021 with 5 employees and now have almost doubled in 2022. I believe the success of Kreative Media is our client service, relationships and the end product our clients receive.
We’ve been impressed with Kreative Media, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Kreative Media is an award winning full service digital marketing agency that specializes in website and logo design, social media management, videography and photography, SEO and ad management.
Our client service and out of the box videos/photos set us apart from our competition. Before Kreative Media was formed, if a small business wanted an upscale video + social media you would have to use 2 different agencies which would be 2 different prices. We do it all in house which makes it much more affordable and our clients brand is cohesive on all channels. Our goal is if you see a video/photo/social post or website, you know exactly who that brand is without looking at the logo.
All of our clients see a huge increase of leads, clients and engagement with their business when they hand over their brand to Kreative Media.
What matters most to you? Why?
Our clients matter the most to us. If we are not serving our clients 110% then we aren’t doing it right. We want every client to feel part of the Kreative Media family and know that we are one text or call away. We celebrate when our clients celebrate!
