Today we’d like to introduce you to Lyrik Nicholle Kiser.
Hi Lyrik Nicholle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started working at McDonald’s at 15. I knew I always wanted to make money be successful. I lost my parents at 14 which made me mature faster and had to take care of responsibilities with my other siblings. Throughout high school, I was from job to job as each job was an upgrade from the last one. Once I graduated Highschool, I attended U OF H and was working at Victoria’s Secret at the Galleria location. I got a raise and worked at all locations including Katy Mills, Pearland Mall, and Memorial City Mall. As 3 years went by I got tired of the constant work of 80 hours plus a week without the results I wanted. I came across my mentor Tempestt Nikole who taught me financial literacy and business structure, business credit, and how to fund your business. She also taught me about Airbnb and real estate. A year later 2022 I Scaled 100k yearly. I learned how to save invest and to use the system to my advantage. I also launched my own Tax business called Luxe Financial Solutions. I plan on clearing 100k from this business as well and going to use some of that money for real estate and add more cars to my turo fleet.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some struggles along the way people don’t see is me losing 50k doing bad business with the wrong people. It’s extremely hard to trust people these days most people try to use you. I had times I self doubted myself and had lots of sleepless nights and early mornings. It’s been times I wasn’t sure how my bills would be paid but I Closed some deals and God made a way for me. Relationships can hold you back as well so definitely be careful in choosing your partner as an entrepreneur.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Luxe Financial Solutions is my Tax business we are known for the great customer service we provide and we always educate our clients in general not just based on their needs. We make surer clients are educated all the way around to ensure them the highest refund and get the tax credits they work hard for. I will start a mentorship program to help others start their own Tax Business.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I’ve taken a major risk. I’ve lost over 50k and a relationship I was in or involved in a kind of set me back a few years but I came out stronger and better than ever. I’m glad I went through those struggles because it all made me who I am today and some lessons can’t be learned from just reading a book, you have to take action and learn through experiences. I’m glad I was never scared to fail because I wouldn’t have won.
