Hi Mariano Facundo, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started as a dream: protecting digital content. Cybercrime is everywhere, and for too long cybersecurity has been playing catch-up. That is how I conceived VisionTech, and how we built it: to make the digital world safer, where intellectual property can actually be protected, where you can take action, and where there is real traceability for the people behind the infringement.
The goal has always been to strengthen the digital economy, because the impact is massive. In 2023 alone, piracy tracking data measured 229.4 billion visits to piracy websites worldwide.
We focus on delivering top-tier service without cutting corners. Our baseline is innovation, and AI is a big part of how we do it. We keep pushing toward new horizons while doing our part to make the internet a safer place.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. The biggest challenge is that cybercriminals never stop. They constantly find new and smarter ways to keep committing crimes, so staying updated is not optional, it is the job every single day.
And now AI is in their hands too. That means attacks can be faster, more targeted, and more convincing. So we have to move even faster, keep improving our tech, and keep raising the bar without sacrificing quality. As we evolved into a streaming company, that pressure only increased, because scale brings more complexity. The struggle is real, but it is also what pushes us to innovate and stay ahead.

Visiontech is a techonlogy company built with security at its core. We focus on delivering a great user experience while protecting digital content end to end. We specialize in secure content delivery, monitoring, and traceability so creators and businesses can understand what is happening with their content and take action when needed.
What sets us apart is that we do not treat protection as an add-on. It is part of the product from day one. We also move fast, iterate fast, and use AI to stay ahead as threats evolve.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something most people do not expect is how deeply I get into the cybersecurity side of what we do. I am not just thinking about the product or the brand, I spend a lot of time studying how attacks evolve, how threat actors operate, and where the next weak point will be.
I am obsessed with building defenses before they become necessary. I like to anticipate how criminals will try to bypass systems, and then design solutions that make that harder, with traceability and accountability built in. For me it is not just “security features.” It is a constant mission to make the digital world safer, one layer at a time.
