Hi Medina, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story is built on Faith and rooted in service. For over two decades, I’ve been committed to helping families, educators, and communities build, protect, and preserve their legacies. I started in the insurance industry back in 2000, working in auto claims. What I thought would be just a job quickly became a calling. After several years, I took a leap of faith and launched my own independent Allstate agency in 2006— which was the birth of CJCM Enterprises, Inc. I’ve now spent over 24 years in the industry, helping clients navigate everything from personal and commercial insurance to life, health, and annuities.

But that’s just one piece of the puzzle.

I’m also an educator, currently teaching Principles of Business, Marketing, and Finance at an early college high school. I’ve seen firsthand how financial literacy can change the trajectory of a student’s life—and I’m passionate about equipping the next generation with tools to succeed beyond the classroom.

Along the way, I became a licensed Realtor. Homeownership is one of the most powerful ways to build generational wealth, and I wanted to make sure I could support my clients from every angle—whether they’re insuring what matters or investing in their future.

On top of that, I’ve served as a licensed minister for over 20 years. My faith grounds everything I do. Whether I’m mentoring new agents, coaching women to reclaim their voice, or helping families secure peace of mind through life insurance—I approach it all with the mindset of ministry.

My mission is simple: to be a bridge. A bridge between knowledge and action, faith and finances, hope and legacy. If my story helps someone take the next step toward their purpose, then I’ve done what I was created to do.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road—but every part of it built me for where I am today.

I went from a secure corporate job to stepping out on faith and opening my own agency. Things were moving forward, and then life shifted. I ended up on Social Security Disability, and let me tell you—it barely covered the basics. All while my husband and I were doing everything we could to keep things afloat and hold our family together.

During that time, the passive income I had built from personal auto and life insurance policies became our lifeline. It’s what allowed us to maintain stability, keep our home, and not fall behind—even when everything around us said we should have.

I’ve had to navigate being a wife, mother, business owner, educator, and minister—all while dealing with uncertainty and financial strain. There were moments of discouragement, but never defeat.

The challenges shaped me. They taught me the value of multiple streams of income, the importance of community, and the power of resilience. Now I’m on a mission to help others create options for themselves—so they’re never in a position where one stream of income defines their future.

CJCM Enterprises, Inc. is more than just a business—it’s a legacy. The name itself is rooted in both family and faith. It represents my household: Christopher, Joseph, Christopher Jr., and Medina. But it also carries a deeper meaning—Christ Jesus Created Me—and that truth is at the center of everything we do.

At CJCM, we specialize in providing comprehensive financial protection through personal, commercial, life, health insurance, and annuities, along with professional real estate services. With over 24 years of industry experience, I’ve built a firm that doesn’t just sell policies or homes—we educate, empower, and elevate the people and communities we serve.

What sets us apart is our personal approach. We treat our clients like family, guiding them through every stage of life with clarity, compassion, and customized solutions. The rise of annuity products, index-linked solutions, and generational wealth planning is also taking center stage. Families are looking for ways to build lasting security that isn’t dependent on unstable markets, and I’m proud that CJCM Enterprises is at the forefront of helping people protect and preserve what they’ve worked so hard for.
